You claim not to be programmer-types, yet you use the word "parse" instead of "understand" or "comprehend"

@Author X

Right, like no one ever used the word "parse" before the digital age.

Amazed at how dumbed-down this *doesn't* look. I realize I'll have to order it online as with Electroplankton, but order it is what I'm gonna do. Can't wait to make irritating squeals and warbles in the doctor's office, at the DMV, and when my significant other is trying to watch things like "Beauty and the Geek".

Word on the "dumbed down". It's about time something interesting comes out.

Electroplankton is very cool. I was trying to understand the O.M. that came with my game, printed in Japanese. (Now, please keep in mind that this is my 1st gaming system. I've been "busy" the last 30 years making cars)

There's one named "Rec-Rec" with fish swimming to the beat...I was trying to figure out how to make these silly fish "do their thing". I figured out how to make them swim slower by slowing the beat down and changed the beat pattern. So, I say a few words to myself out of frustration. Dang! There it goes, the fish are saying what I had just said. LMAO.

Have you looked on eBay? I found one for $54.00 shipped.

Actually, I ordered Electroplankton as soon as it came out back in January 2006. Hard to believe now, but Wal-Mart was actually selling it back then.

My import arrived today. This application is awesome. I can't believe how full featured this program is and it is ton of fun to play around with. While I have played guitar for years, I have never really worked with electronic instruments or sequencers. I managed to figure out the basic software features, lay down some beats, add a decent bass line and a simple lead in about thirty minutes. I do wish I could read the Japanese manual, but the basic interface is fairly easy to learn on the fly. In my case, learning every feature will require the English manual, but those having more experience with electronic instruments should be able to get deep into this program in minutes. I think the Korg DS-10 is going to sell a lot of DS Lite machines.
