Can't wait to jump into an completely RvR centric game!

It's like DAoC Pre-'New Frontiers' but with more PvP cohesion!

Gives them just enough time to eliminate 3-4 more classes and some more cities!

Soon it's just going to be: Elf Magic person and Dwarf Fighter Guy. And they all start in: "CITY1"

whoa, we knew the game was pretty much done? last I heard the game was so far behind that it might not launch until mid next year.

While I'm happy to hear we will see it this year, this questionably earlier release date leads me to believe it's probably not much better than most of the previews have suggested..

..another case of MMO's being released before they're done?

Read this preview, they sound super enthusiastic about it: http://www.eurogamer.net/article.php?article_id=200309

Based on that, it sounds like September could be about right :)

I was surprised to hear it's coming out so soon as well.. I had pretty much accepted that I would probably never see my CE.

They cut like 2 of 24 classes...thats not a bunch of stuff...the two cities was kinda major... But the fact is, this game is going to be so much better than wow... I just hope people give it a chance

They cut 4 classes and all but two capital cities. It's a pretty major cut.

So I guess that means the open beta pretty much has to start sometime in August... I hope so, because that was part of the reason I bought the CE.

Sucks...this may speed the WoW: Lich King expansion out there too, and I'm not quite prepared to dive into that just yet.

It is so pathetic to see people say "They removed cities and some classes, it s*cks, they cant finish it, blabla". The truth is "yes they cut some things". But they did other things to replace that. For example, by cutting out some cities for rvr (yes only for rvr, because the cities will still be there) they had more time for the remaining cities. Which means the remaining cities will have much more content and unique abilities. So before you break the game down saying it cut so much content, you better read all the articles who say what more things will be implemented to the remaining content. Same for the classes, 4 will be removed, which gives them time to polish the other classes even more. This is not something they just did, they gave it alot of thought. They cut ou the 4 classes which where less anticipated in the beta, and which they did not feel good enough about to put in the release. So shortly said, they cut some content out to make other content even better.
So stop being all childish and dont flame the game because of the content cuts, but read futher and get excited about the even better things added to the remaining content.
