Gears of War 2 content unlocked by original Gears achievements, $130 Lancer bundle coming

looks my $130 is going to epic :D

I fucking hate the collector's edition for games. Absolutely worthless.

Great idea but god damn it those ranked achievments are hard for me to get.

The extras unlocked by Gears achievements can probably be unlocked through other means. I'm not complaining because I have a 760 gamerscore in Gears.

Hypothesis: The 'Seriously' unlock will let you play as the briefing chick.

looks like i'll have some unlocks when i pick this up, i'm 1250/1250 for gears-1 achievements

you know, chances are if you're buying/anticipating the second gears, you've accomplished a magaton in the first. *rolls eyes*

That's like paying $130 for Peanut Butter Captain Crunch because it includes the baking soda powered submarine. Pass.

I'll just wait until Amazon sells this bundle at the same price they sell the regular game, e.g. Halo 3 Legendary Edition's sales plan.

The LANCER is $130.

The SPECIAL EDITION is $70.

No bundle according to this.

Um well I have mixed feelings.

For one this is great I got a few Online achievements and all the Single player ones but I hope you can unlock it in other ways because unless you cheated the achievements or you are Fenix over here Gears of War achievements were annoying as hell for 2 reasons.

1-Xbox live f*gg*try and this covers a lot of ground; from people being douchebags to people doing glitches, clan matches, Host that disconnected when they were about to lose etc etc.I could talk about this for hours but I feel is not necessary.

2-The second problem is the system itself. Well first you couldn’t get the achievements in normal play with friends so we return to problem 1 or A if you prefer. The system didn’t count you the kills you got unless you completed the match and with problem 1 or A I say 300 kills were not counted in my case.

All the true skill bs just ruin the game.TF2 is a blast to play online and you can get the achievements anywhere at any time.

(Sadly Valve is doing the same mistake as many developers in the past with the new pack, most of those achievements need to be farmed. Seriously when are you supposed to get “Got a light?” First good Spies don’t taunt and if they do they don’t do it with the cigarette flick)

130$...Um oh what the hell I wasted 130$ in a Ferret Helmet I might as well complete the set.(I checked no cat could ever feel comfort with that helmet on ,is more for a ferret.)
