I've been trying to raise awareness of the doubtful future of the family, and the interesting fact that they are now, more or less, doing this job pro-bono, as AOL originally told the whole family to STOP ALL POSTING before the network bosses bit back

I'm pretty sure it's just the satellite sites, as I haven't seen any articles written by "Joystiq Staff", unlike the satellite blogs, and Joystiq got tons of traffic during E3.

Massively is another Weblogs Inc. blog... And they have even more "Staff" posts than Joystiq... Maybe.


Hm... Looks like they also use this "Staff" credit for old posts of bloggers no longer on the site.

I forsee a world where there will be only handheld systems. Why not? You can play the game anywhere.

However, they will take a cue from the PSP Lite & Slim: Video out is awesome.

And when connected to a TV, multiplayer will be possible with one system, with extra controllers connecting to the handheld wirelessly.

It will be a glorious future!

I dunno, as nice as nothing but handhelds sounds for those of us who are... portable, there are still and will always be those of us who fear the sunlight and the burden of maintaining a positive social status.

I mean, I bought an HDTV just for my 360, I don't even have cable.

Yes, it only took a company that defeated Nintendo in the console market to....not lose as badly in the handheld market as past contenders!

No, because DS sales have peaked. Sony will see it that PSP sales will not decline so long as they continue to introduce a new color every 3-5 weeks like they have been.

PSP will fall back into oblivion after the few sony acolytes have gotten their fill of the new flavor.

The funny thing is to imagine how shitty the PSP sales would become if Nintendo introduced a new hot color for the DS or even better a whole new redesign.

And this is why I love having both handhelds... I get the best of both worlds! I get to see that each system has it's flaws and gems, instead of baselessly hating on a system/company...

Uh, EliteBeatAgent, the DS selling units wouldn't really adversely affect the amounts of PSPs being sold.
