Will you shut up already? Nobody really gives a shit about your questions because we've answered them sooo many times before and they're never good enough for you.

This just in - some of us, who have been gaming for years, were put off by Nintendo's E3 conference. At E3, Nintendo had a choice to make - which audience was more important to us? - and with three games for each audience, they could have showed them all...

they spotlighted casual bullshit. After hyping the conference up, after gamers were told we'd have something to be excited over... we were shown a Shaun White game with N64 caliber visuals that required a 90$ peripheral to play, Animal Crossing (which is fun but not enough to fill the gaming void), and Wii Music, which was more than embarrasing.

Yeah, I understand that Nintendo can't possibly hold up the system on their own. They could have devoted more than one or two sentences for the games that the people who've held them up over the years would actually want (We're making Pikmin! Zelda and Mario Teams are working! Now listen to an hour and a half of us talking about stuff you'll never care about!). Nah, they devoted their entire show to three games (3? That's embarassing, considering the other two shows had a plethora of shit to show), none of which could get a gamer truly hyped.

And while i understand the outrage over this, the fact that they chose to use E3 to cater to the casual audience doesn't magically make the actual things that they are doing on the platform magically disappear

Fatal Frame? Still there. Wario Land? Still There. Captain Rainbow (fan service if i ever saw it)? Still there.

It's a kindred spirit to that reactionary fear that went around last year that casual gaming would cause the destruction of gaming as we knew it, because our money would somehow magically vanish because there's a new audience out there

"doesn't magically make the actual things that they are doing on the platform magically disappear"

I'm well aware of that - I'm just sore over the fact that it seems as though gamers aren't really important to Nintendo's scheme any more. The biggest (well, second biggest now) conference of the year, one that gamers always tune into, and they didn't have anything to show to gamers? That's just plain maddening.

I still love my Wii, as I love all of my systems, and I'm sure I'll still find things to buy on the system. It's pretty saddening to hear about how I, as a gamer, am going to love what Nintendo shows at E3, and then all I see is Animal Crossing and GTADS... to hear that, and then hear people like Reggie defend that? It seems as though Nintendo is out of touch with the gamer.

o_O I didn't see any questions, only whining and desperate attacking of people attacking Nintendo. Seriously, Nintendo screwed up. I have a particularly strong affinity for the company and even I can admit it. Not all of us are just anti-Nintendo crusaders, you know. Did it ever occur to you that people may actually form opinions WITHOUT sworn allegiance to one company or another? That people are capable of looking at an event or object or person and make an objective judgment NOT based on fanboyism?

And if what you post is constantly getting marked down, I think that is a sign that people dislike, disagree with, or think what you are saying is stupid and irrelevant. So I don't see what making us read the same crap over again is going to do. It's not like hundreds of people are viewing your comments and then mindlessly marking them down and then when you repost the SAME EXACT COMMENT, they read it and think, "Oh, wow! What clever insight! I wish I had had this epiphany BEFORE I rated down the 10 duplicates of this message."

Dude, get the fuck over it.

There will always be people who hate Nintendo, just like I hate Sony and Ubisoft. You aren't only making yourself look like an ass, but others such as me and Fernando as well. Just fuck off already.

You may think you are a fanboy, when really your just a jackass with a Joystiq account

4myfriends, you twat. You didn't ask any questions. All you really did was attack anyone who said they voted for VGcats, like an idiot. Ranting and raving, and wondering where all your hearts went.

And did I vote for VGcats? NO! Read my posts. I voted for Extra Life. I WAS going to vote for the Wall-E 2p start strip. But then I read VG cats and got a chuckle there but moved on, voting instead for Extra Life because of all the stupid shit to complain about, Diablo 3's petition is by far the most embarassing. Anyone who actually signed it should be gassed.

And WHY did Extra Life get my vote? I said it before, I'll say it again. Nothing is getting me MORE out of gaming than gamers themselves. Presumptious little fucks who think these soulless corporations should appease them and only them. Couple this with chest-slappingly retarded hyper defense team like yourself and maybe you'll see why I'm posting here less and less. Look, when you grow up and get a real job with real pay and possibly even own some real estate, these fanboy wars are stupid. And it's embarassing the way most posters act. You CAN poke fun at a console, any console, and not be ripping it. Bashing the console outright is retarded.

But I'm sure, by the time the glaze settles over your eyes because I actually responded to you in the same way adoring peasants left goats by your bridge so they could bargain safe passage, any points I made here will equate themselves to "Huuur Duuuur Nintendo is Teh Ghey."

Read my long comment in my thread, there's your answer for why I really would have voted for VGCats (if it was funny. It wasn't, so I didn't).

VGCats got my vote, though I was somewhat disappointed that this week's slackerz didn't make the list, as it's a much better (and funnier) take on the Nintendo E3 conference.

So, am I the only one who agreed with VG Catz point but couldn't vote for it because it was too damn long? No gaming webcomic ever requires 15 panels to tell a joke. When CAD makes the same point as you but does it more efficiently, you know you did something wrong.

I voted for WALL-E, btw.

I was just about to attempt to choose between Digital Unrest and 2P Start, but then I saw the VG Cats one, and had to go for that one :) All three were great.

I voted for VG Cats for the simple fact that I'm a Nintendo gamer, tuned into E3 all excited.... and they shoveled crap down my throat. The only thing I found mildly cool was the sword fighting in the Wii Summer Resort. As far as I know E3 doesn't have much of a casual viewing audience, generally fans are looking for something more than the very bad sounding Wii Music. Pretending to play an instrument doesn't seem that exciting to me.... I like Nintendo, I've always liked Nintendo but E3 was a kick in the balls. Oh and the new PR woman, God help us all. Someone take her off the happy pills, no one can be that excited about yet ANOTHER pokemon game coming out.
