Bizarre Creations definitely has PSN in plans

One of our favorite PR moves is the affirmative denial. It's risky, and not to be attempted by newbies. But when they can pull it off well, it's dazzling. It's like watching someone able to rub their head and play the Minute Waltz at the same time.

Check out Bizarre Creations games manager Craig Howard's answer to 1UP's query about Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved 2 coming to PSN: "Geometry Wars Retro Evolved 2 is currently an Xbox 360 exclusive title, although PSN is definitely in our company plans going forward." (And he nails it!) No, we don't know what his comment means either. But we think our PS3-owning friends would be completely justified if they had a little extra spring in their step today.

i didn't really like that game though.
i sucked horribly at it.

I wasn't good at it either but I couldn't stop playing

Sweet, though I'll get it for the 360 first at least now my brother doesn't have to steal my 360 to play it.

PSN has Super Stardust HD already, so this "announcement" doesn't really interest me. Having played both, I feel that Super Stardust is just way more fun.

I have both and I think super star dust is soooo boring

To each his own, of course, but I found SSHD incredibly boring after having already played Geometry Wars.

I have both and prefer SSHD by far. Of course, I haven't played GW2 yet... though I did play Waves in PGR4 and didn't really care for it.

Yea with both SSHD and Everyday Shooter who cares if they don't bring it to PSN

GW is overrated imo. I honestly didn't find it that fun. Maybe it's cuz i suck :(

I shudder at playing Geometry Wars with the PS3 analog sticks almost as much as I shudder at playing Soul Calibur IV on the 360's d-pad.

Bizarre Creations has done stuff other than PGR and GW, you know.

The little red ships sucked. Still looking forward to GW2 though.

lol he certainly did nail it though. he said no, but still left that little bit of wiggle room.

anyway, im pretty happy with the PSN's dual analog shooters right now honestly. i dont think ive ever played Geometry Wars (aside from a PSP homebrew clone) so i cant really attest to how good it is, but i know SSHD is dammed fun to me. so if they bring GW to the PSN, ill give it a whirl.

As much as I love to see the 360 losing exclusives, GW is crap. Never understood the attraction to it.

I think it was all the pretty colors and the partical effects when stuff exploded.

Geometry Wars is cool beans, though I like Super Stardust better. Certainly wouldn't mind having both, of course...

I hope that Geometry Wars comes out on PSN. I will snatch that shit up.

for when and if it comes out, is it any good, to make sure that i actually buy a decent game lol.. i already have SSHD since some people compare it to SSHD lol is it worth buying if it comes?

SONY's not the type of company to release two (or more) almost identical games on the PSN, I will have to speculate that this will not be ported to ps3, perhaps psp.

Honestly with Super Stardust HD and Everyday Shooter who cares if they put it on PSN? It's a good game for XBLA but PS3 has just as good or better.
