Oh, wait. EVERY iteration of GTA from 1 through San Andreas has been on PC.

You know its gonna come out anyway, practically every GTA release has been on pc. Except for the side story games anyway.
I'll definitely pick it up though, just to be able to play in true 1080p on my media center for the hell of it.

Neither are normal computers. If i wanted to spend 5 billion dollars for a grpahical powerhouse, i would. As is, Crysis majorly lagging on my "at least decent" rig is a joke.

A console costs £300, LIVE for the 360's lifespan costs £420, and a decent HDTV costs over £500. Games on consoles are £40.
For £300 or less, you can turn your current PC into a killer gaming rig capable of maxing out all new games (except Crysis, but that's one game and it's not great anyway). Games on PC are £25. We also get DLC free.

so you include the price of an hdtv for console gaming but not for pc gaming? I do all my pc gaming on my 46" hdtv, the same as my console. And even if you dont do that, your gonna need a decent monitor, which will run you around $300 for a minimal one. then your forgetting upgrades for stuff like ram and cpu when your system becomes bloated down the road for all the porn and crap you have installed on it.
yes you dont need to spend $2000 for a gaming pc, but dont pretend its cheaper to pc game, cause its much more expensive then console gaming.

See, I've never gotten the whole "you have to upgrade every 6 months" argument. It doesn't have any logic behind it. What if your current computer is more powerful than any current gen console? Do you *need* to upgrade every 6 months? NO, you don't. Some people do and that's their choice, but it's hardly a majority.

I wouldn't be too sure. I think the big reason that it hasn't been anounced for PC is the same reason we aren't getting Force Unleashed for PC: they don't want to give modders Euphoria yet (I don't care what Lucasarts says, I will put money on that being the real reason...) and keep a stronghold on licensing the tech.

sadly, if you go to the esrb's website, they removed "windows pc" from the platforms for GTA4. =( guess now we won't know if it will ever come true.
