Now that E3 is long gone and we've had a week off to rest, the Fancast is back in full force. Okay, so it's almost back in full force. Unfortunately, Xav couldn't make it for this episode. That's okay, because he probably would have been totally jealous of the rest of the crew talking about all the awesome stuff they did at E3 anyway. That is what we do, by the way. This episode is a wrap-up of our E3 coverage. We talk about the games we played, the events we witnessed and we all pick our personal favorite games of the show.
Oh, and Dustin also picks a fight with Justin McElroy of the Joystiq podcast. Let the feud begin.

I know how to fix your audio problem Rich. Double click the volume icon and set it to mute. This stops mic playback and won't actually mute your microphone.
If the microphone option isn't showing you have to click the options menu, click properties and make sure the microphone box is checked.

I heard Justin dissing Dustin in one of the Joystiq podcasts, is this feud in retaliation to that or something else?

Hmm this doesn't sound good at all. Anyone else think Joystick should focus on the PC, and let the fanboy sites focus on their console.
This'll also have a crazy effect on WoW Insider considering it's like.. well, are there any other good WoW news sites?

yeah, I second that. The Joystiq cast is Really fucking boring. They have no chemistry at all and not to mention one of the guys is a complete dick.
Sorry to hear about Weblogs Inc shafting your guys. Hopefully you guys still stick around even after the site goes down.

Wow, this funny feeling just came over me. I just realised that I've done nothing with my life, and want to attend somekind of university, alot. Madly clicking on this banner may give me more information of the subject. I wonder if Marcus will be my lecturer...
Joking aside, this news does concern me alot. I've become attached to the team, and the Podcast has become a very important part of my week (thanks guys).
Good luck, and X3F staff just became my favorite blogger, I think he/it/(they) really care about the community. Yay for awesome people.

Quick note about your comments on the co-op for Too Human:
It's been confirmed that there are NO cut-scenes when playing co-op, it because some of the scenes are interactive and it wouldn't work for co-op play. Also, DD has stated that co-op story was never a concern during design.

Hahaha! It was a joke. The internet has no sense of humor. That being said, Fallout 3 is on the same level graphically as Pong. ;)

Okay, time for a group hug guys, because we were all just joking around. Fallout 3 is not gorgeous by any means, but for Bethesda/Oblivion/Fallout/RPG lovers the prettiness factor isn't that big of a deal.
True, I'm not a big fan of RPGs and kinda lost interest in Fallout 3 after seeing it, but I don't think it's the scum of the gaming world and has my respect for filling the RPG gaming void that it does. Hell, it gets my respect for attracting the legions of fans it already has. The "intense" Fallout 3 Fancast hating was all in jest and part of the Justin joking around. Mmkay?
Now, hug it out and get back to gaming. :D

Concerning Too Human's Co-op: I think it was very intentional to leave the story out. I think SK designed it so that players would farm certain levels to fight certain bosses or gain level specific loot and what not. If you're going through the story, but want to play the levels out of order.... how do you do that? Or... if you're attempting a run on a certain boss, would you want to have to play every thing before that point just to get the item you want?
Also I really hope AOL has enough sense to keep my favorite video game news source/blog up and running for as long as video games exist. I wish you guys the best, and I really appreciate the X3F Staff posts since it's above and beyond what most people would do at other jobs in the same situation.

I'd love to have a feed for the advanced enhanced cast.
The normal one goes nuts when I try to rewind or fast forward on my iPod.
And did anyone else in California feel that quake? That was a biggin'. (my HD TV shook more than I'd like)
And I will never ever take down the video of Alexander.

I've been listening to the show for a while now, but this episode was my last. Dustin Burg's fanboy devotion to only 2 games limits his ability to objectively discuss any topic whatsoever. I think Justin McElroy was right to call him out on his offhanded comment about Fallout 3 being merely Oblivion with guns. Maybe it is maybe it isn't, but that sort of shallow snap judgment cements the fact that he is incapable of anything even resembling journalism. Instead he merely gushes over the latest adventures of Space Marines in a never-ending cavalcade of drool. I hop he gets picked up by Epic or Bungie, as they seem the only places his passions would be put to any reasonable use at all.
I just can't take it anymore, he's a broken record on every episode. Perhaps he could just be replaced with sound bites from his previous musings on all things Halo and Gears.
