Unless you're a truly hardcore otaku, it might be hard to understand the appeal of Idolmaster. This was a huge success in Japan, in spite of it being on Xbox 360. Imagine how well it will do when it arrives on Japan's most successful console right now. Yeah, we're thinking this is going to cause a massive surge of sales, one only rivaled by Monster Hunter.

Wow, you are right, I don't get it at all. And please tell me there is no "swimsuit contest" in this game. *shudders*

I wonder how this will do on Japan, no use having released it on the 360 there, this will do a lot better on the PSP.

Well I can't say anything bout the gameplay... (guess it plays like a dating sim of sorts) but the graphics look impressive.

The first 15 seconds sounded like an alarm, a robot and a generic pop beat all at once. Thanks for the aural assault there, Namco.

Well it was a pretty good success on the 360 ... I read somewhere that the game made almost 3 million $ just from Japanese DLC , so yeah lets hope that the success will translate to the PSP version to :)

Jacksons: That's actually part of one of the game's songs, "The iDOLM@STER" so don't go blaming Namco for that.
I doubt this game will be released in America anytime soon being that the taste of American players are a little different than the Japanese. I wouldn't mind seeing some Japanese games being shipped over to America though.
