Whether it's a fist in Batman's gullet or the opportunity for cosplayers to suit up without ever putting needle to thread, it's become increasingly clear that DC Comics has a thing for video games. The latest example of this comes from a deal between DC and Capcom, which will see a pair of new comic book series created based on Resident Evil and Devil May Cry.
The agreement is DC's second in as many weeks following last week's deal with EA for a six-part comic book series based on Mirror's Edge, and like that series, both Resident Evil and Devil May Cry adaptations will be released under DC's Wildstorm umbrella. However, with so little to go on, and a creative team and launch month left unspecified until a later date, we doubt we'll be adding either title to our monthly pull lists just yet.

I read comics. Regularly, too. Shocking, I know.
Also note there is already a Devil May Cry manga.

To make it simple Comics>Anime.
Comics are always very well written while Anime is just retarded when it comes to story structure.

You're telling me you can't see a difference between American comics and Japanese manga?
Sorry, but you can't honestly believe yourself.

They both have their ups, they both have their downs, buut ultimately they are one and the same. Aside from obvious cultural influences lending to differences in plot progression, artistic design, and layout, you can't honestly believe they aren't both a product of one another?
Osamu Tezuka's biggest influence was Disney after all.
(That goes for both Anime / Cartoons and Manga / Comic Books)

The only difference between them are cultural differences. And that's pretty much it.
There's only two reasons why we call japanese comics manga.
1. to differentiate it from western comics(because stating japanese comics over and over again is way too long)
2. It's a hip marketing term used by corporations in order to get 12 year olds to buy their stuff.
But at the end of the day, they're pretty much the same.
