GTA: Chinatown Wars site hints at Nintendo WFC features

Rockstar has created a placeholder site for the semi-recently announced Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars which may be giving away a little more than it had planned. Along with the usual DS logo branding and ERSB "RP" badge is ... the official Nintendo W-Fii Connection emblem. It certainly looks like it's intended to be there, but we won't know for certain whether the first GTA on Ninty's dual-screen handheld will have proper online play until Rockstar says something – and that could be a while. In the meantime, we can only wait and dream of setting Liberty City ablaze with other DS users over the internet.

i wish Nintendonald's would have used a better wifi card in the DS, the current one has very limited data transfer speeds, thus the reason most online DS games support only max. 4 players (usually 2 players) and no voice chat during gameplay etc.

with that in mind, at worst its gonna be something lame like posting your best score online. at best its gonna be prolly 2 player versus mini-games with no voice chat. im leaning on the best score feature.

Or maybe because when Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection launched Nintendo and McDonalds teamed up by allowing free Wi-Fi Internet Access in certain McDonalds "Restaurants." That's what I take from it anyways...

How about you try find out if this game is like gta 1/2 or the 3d ones(jackass ds is a 3d free roaming game done my a studio unfamiliar with the ds so 3d is possible) ? online play will be crappy i bet.

Maybe it will be like 1/2 but with turf wars as the main concept and focus.

I hate the DS I mean the only game that interest me is the new remake of that Kirby game.

I'll also disagree. I have so many amazing games on my DS and none of them are casual games (NSMB is not what I call a casual game) but huge titles.

DS has some of the most hardcore games this generation... Have you ever played Shiren the Wanderer or Etrian Oddessey 2? Intense.

Wow, most of the previous commenters are such whiny little bitches...

Wi-Fi means multiplayer and GTA2 multiplayer was amazing. GTA3 style could also be quite good, and is probably what we're gonna get.

Now, all we need is more news than it's name and the logos that are associated with it.
