Wolfenstein trailer and images are occult-tastic

Straight from QuakeCon 2008 come some piping hot Wolfenstein goodies from the upcoming game, namely the trailer and a gallery of images. It might look like The Ghostbusters Meet Hitler, or the opening scene of the first Hellboy movie, but we're excited about the supernatural side of World War II. Thank you for that, Raiders of the Lost Ark.

This is a lot more footage than what we saw at Activision's "Not An E3 Event" event earlier this month, and it looks like it has some potential. The paranormal parts look decent, but why does some of it make us think of Call of Duty... 1? Hopefully we'll get some better looks in the coming months ahead, culminating in some Halloweenalicious spooky soldiers.

I have loved every Wolfenstein game ever released, RTCW was absolutely fantastic. As far as I am concerned there is almost no way for this game to be bad.

FFS, all I saw is ONE FREAKING UBERSOLDIER and a bunch of Nazis.If I wanted to fight against soldiers that can take on an entire MP40 clip,I would've picked up CoD4.

Am I the only one slightly miffed at the complete absence of wolves in a game called "Wolfenstein?" As a matter of fact, from the name, I completely expect a giant reanimated wolf composed entirely of parts from other dead wolves. DELIVER, ACTIVISION!

I was also disappointed that my VW didn't include and wasn't assembled by wolves or werewolves of any kind. I mean they're from Wolfsburg...

What the hell was that? Wolfenstein will forever be in my heart a pixelated 3D game where I spent half my time running against walls pressing the use button to find secret doors. At least they could have brought back the status display with the picture of your face.
