Considering how Joystiq doesn't use a CAPTCHA image to comment (where the picture has letters/numbers you type to verify you can read the picture) it's probably a spam program that automatically does this many times repeatedly. That being the case, practically no time was spent making their message, so if even a single person clicks on it to generate a sale, it was worth it.

Is this a FPS? It certainly looks generic enough, and Carmack is at the helm, and we all know how inspired Doom 3 was. Plus, the game is called Rage. Rage? Really? Anyway, I see ID are offering their angst-teen market what they "truly" desire. They are the great innovators.

I believe it combines racing elements too (think Motorstorm), and is set in a post-apocolyptic setting (think Mad Max).

I dunno, it could be okay. I'll have to wait on more information before I really give a strong opinion either way, but I'm certainly hopeful.
