I know precisely which comments got me banned.I'm just not sure why.

I was writing a reply to...Lord Bowser I think and I ended up replying to the wrong person.Twice.

I got really pissed off because of this and wrote:

That was my last comment.After that,both mine and Bowser's comments were deleted and I got banned.It was probably the "fuck you Joystiq" part that got me screwed, but then again pretty much everybody insults each other on a regular basis, so insulting the website shouldn't be that much of an offence.

<meek voice%gt; Ummm... I thought CAD was pretty funny. And so did my coworkers (one of them showed it to me before I saw it here). So, yeah. Some people think CAD is funny after all.

...nonetheless, I though Slackerz was the best.

I know most people don't like to go to the CAD site on principle, so I'll provide a brief plot summary:

Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader are having a tough time in their relationship, which has been complicated because Vader becomes pregnant. However, Vader has a miscarriage, and then proceeds to duel with Skywalker, using the deformed fetus as a light saber.

Eventually, they all laugh it off and get back to gaming.

While I can't stand CAD most of the time, I kinda liked it this time. xP

CAD actually had a good joke this week. Too bad it was two panels in, and Buckley didn't even realize it. But still the best comic this week.

What should I do here :

A) Say CAD suck ass.

Response –The regular crowd may think I'm cool while the edgy Joystiq readers won’t find this either new or exciting and since the same message was posted more than 3 times in the same chain of replies it will look weak and it will make me sound like a sheep causing serious down votes from the edgy crowd.

B) Say CAD is cool.

Response –The regular crowd will down vote me, the edgy crowd will think I’m a fanboy and I could be marked as CAD fanboy which is somehow worst than being marked a regular fanboy.

C) Just say an honest opinion about how you don’t despise CAD but you it found mediocre half of the time since most of the web-comics are so centered in the main protagonists which attempts of witty humor are quite bland but remark you found CAD comics that are actually related with gaming. Computer or technology amusing and their “quick strips” quite funny

Response – The regular crowd will be confused about my position towards CAD, the edgy crowd will find an honest opinion a refreshing change but nothing that will guarantee an upvote and probably I just wasted my time trying to be cool in the internet.

D) Cheese.

I actually enjoyed quite a bit of these. Usually I only find one funny but I liked the Dueling Analogs even though it was immature, Digital Unrest 'cause it's nerdy, and MNC 'cause it's true.

Amen to that. What the hell is up with the comment system? I like disappearing post as much as the next guy, but it seems like someone with basic web programming knowledge should be able to fix this.

Unless its a Mac-only problem? Any PC-users experiencing this huge fail?

I'm a PC user, and it's been unbearable lately. I went into that Sqeenix post and it went from 60 posts to 12. WTF?

Seriously? Well, that's lame. It's not on the same level as "FIRST" or "Old News" jackassery, because this is a legitimate complaint, but what the fuck ever.

I'm probably gonna be banned for this, but you were right in being a jackass. Plenty of people have commented on this, and as far as I know, we have yet to see a single response. Even a "We're working on it" or "There's nothing we can do about it" would be perfectly fine... to hear nothing about this problem is just plain lame, though.

Thought I'd throw out a theory on the comment system (from a web developer standpoint). Joystiq is HUGE and probably has all kinds of bandwidth and to support so much traffic, it has multiple servers. To save on bandwidth costs, the servers probably cache pages/comments so that when a user requests a page, the server doesn't have to work as hard to send the info. But! Since it takes time to update ALL the cached pages, when you refresh the page, you might get a version that's actually older than the most recent, if that makes any sense. Although, it could be a glitch with how the comments are pulled from a database, which again can be tough with as many requests the site gets. Sadly, it's just a theory, and the only solution I can see is to just be patient with it *shrug*

The comment system has been getting worse for me lately. A few weeks ago, maybe 2 or 3 posts wouldn't show up. Now it's gutting as many as 15-20 posts regularly.

Irritating.

It afflicts me across my 5-year old PC, brand-new laptop, and my Wii, between two versions of IE, Wii Opera, and Firefox

They'll fix it eventually, though funding issues might be stymying such efforts as of now

The Nintedo bashing one isn't even remotely funny, and that's not just because I'm a fan of Nintendo's. It's a meandering, redundant comic with no semblance of a joke or punchline. It outlines exactly what every single person has said the past two weeks, therefore, quite stale and uninspired. Peace.
