Mega Man 9, 2 coming this September

By way of its staff blog, Capcom USA has revealed that Mega Man 9, its retro revival of the classic series, will be available through Nintendo's WiiWare service as soon as this September. Make sure the ceiling is high enough before you jump for joy, lest you hurt your head.

Mega Man 2 for the Virtual Console, which was posted on Europe's VC back in December 2007, is also scheduled to appear in the States in "early September." As for its predecessor, the original Mega Man, Capcom has announced that it will release the game in North America ... tomorrow!

I probably won't buy this if Mega Man 9 is the same but different in storyline.(And i'd be left with 500 Wii points if I got MM1 & MM9)

Also, any news on SBCG4AP, your Events Calendar and even SBCG4AP's blog says that the game is coming out in July. It's August...when is the game coming?!

So is it a timed exclusive, then? Or is it just because the Wii version can be released as-is, while the others have to have 720p minimum support put in?

MM1 TOMORROW YAYAYAYAYAYAYAY..ahem.

I know people are going to disagree with me on this, but I find MM1 a much more satisfying game than MM2. More challenging, too.

MM1 is more challenging then MM2, but I loved MM2 significantly more. The music is superb in MM2.

Tomorrow is actually looking to be a good day for the VC, if Mega Man is dropping. That would mean that we'll see Samurai Showdown II, Ys part II & II and Mega Man.
...Wii Ware will probably suck, though.

..Wow, that's an exceptionally good week. Looks like I'll have to spend the day at work debating whether to get Ys or Mega Man.

Shit. Well, that didn't pan out, did it?

Too bad it couldn't have been Mega Man 2 tomorrow, 3 in early September and then 9. Not that I don't like the first Mega Man, it's just that in comparison to 2 and 3 it doesn't offer a whole lot, at least for me.

However, I will still buy it.

Megaman 1, Sweet! With this and Ys 1&2 due out tommorrow, this is going to be the best week for the Wii Shop that we've had in a long while. Also any news on STCG4AP?

I was just about to ask when MM1 was coming out, since it was previously announced on IGN, but as soon as I read the end of this blog post, I was like, "Oh, f***! It's tomorrow!" Haha, that seriously took me by surprise, both the news and the way you wrote about it, Eric.

So, time to add some Wii Points to my account...I wonder if I should buy a Wii Points card or if I should ask for one of my parent's credit cards, heh...

MAN I'M SO TORN! I want Mega Man tomorrow, but I'd rather have the Anniversary collection for the GC. I also want Samurai Showdown II tomorrow, but I'd rather have the Samurai Showdown collection when it's released later this year!! YIKES!
