We can't stress this one enough. You've seen the video, you've heard us speak with the developer of the technology, and you've seen us rate just how awesome the concept is. While a long amount of time has passed since the original YouTube video hit the Internet, not a single developer has publicly announced plans to implement the technology (save for BOOM BLOX' scrapped bonus mode). According to creator Johnny Chung Lee, "if [a game] requires too much movement on the player's part, Nintendo asks them to pull it." If true, this is quite perplexing when a prominent first-party Wii game asks players to do this. While Lee's claims may be valid, perhaps there are bigger reasons for the sloth-like progress of a head-tracking enabled game. Maybe the higher ups in Nintendo's creative department are simply jealous that they didn't discover the idea first!
Either way, something needs to get done. As Lee himself states, "if Nintendo doesn't do it, I'm fairly sure that Sony and Microsoft may be interested in doing something similar." It's difficult to fathom any reason why Nintendo should let this potential go unfulfilled.
