Didn't take long.

I'd like to see a return to form after this (something more along the lines of Burnout 2).

Best crash mode in the series, great music and great tracks.

I love Paradise, but you're totally right about the Crash Mode in Burnout 2. I think it would be great if they brought it back as a stand-alone DLC game. You could do it online: Each player takes a run at the course, and you get to see everyone else's attempts. Then each person gets a second run, and the best of your two scores counts.

(I've thought about this a lot.)

Overall, a terrific game. The free DLC makes the purchase of this game a real no-brainer, IMHO.

Dang, and I just bought it with trade-ins for $4. I could have gotten it for free!

OMG why? This is a fantastic game. Why would it drop to $60 so fast?

As much as I hate this game, I have to admit it's getting hard to resist.

There is nothing keeping you from buying this game if you have any interest what-so-ever...

It's one of the best overall games and probably the best supported game not involving fake instruments.

Major props to Criterion!

I can't recommend Burnout Paradise enough - I've been playing racing games since the Sega Megadrive and this one is brilliant. It's not perfect (having to drive back to the start of events, and the much publicised step backwards in crash mode), but even with these issues, it's a _lot_ of fun - my favourite arcade racer ever.

Great game that while it doesn't quite reach the lofty standards set by Burnout Revenge is still a quality game that has unlimited potential via the ongoing dlc and online competitive play. Don't buy into the negative hype surrounding it. Criterion have made another great racer.

I got this a day before launch. (Pre-order). And you know what? I still love the game!

Gotta hand it to Criterion: Great game.
