Fanswag: Alone in the Dark

Were you curious about Atari's latest Alone in the Dark game? Well, here's your chance to check it out. And, for free! We're giving one lucky reader a copy of the game (valued at $50). How can you take a stab at getting this for yourself?

Well, simply leave a comment between now and Sunday, August 10th at 11:59pm ET and you're entered. What should be in your comment? Well, why don't you tell us what you're most afraid of. Cool? Okay then!

Of course, there are some stipulations. For one, you have to be at least 18 years of age or older. Second, you have to be a current and legal resident of the United States or Canada (excluding Quebec). Third, you've got to read the official rules.

I'm afraid of being one of those assholes who replies to the first post in a vague attempt at posting 1.3 seconds faster than scrolling down manually.

Afraid of "the Ring" that movie freaked me out!

It's sad to say, but I am afraid of heights.

First! (That I means I win no matter what, be it prize-receiving or not)

The whole concept of lifespan is totally frightening - I don't mean to impress my own jibblies on anybody, but it's like we're all playing a huge game of Mario. That ticker is just slowly counting down... Stop to grab a coin, miss a brick and take that second jump, spend a few extra moments to make sure you stomp that goomba... Every little stop is a slight drain on that little counter.
Until eventually, it's over - and you're left with just two lives, and no idea why.

That's my new motto on life, thank you.

Central Park is pretty scary, especially with the unfunny hobo comedians.

maybe if you live in the movie "the warriors"- outside of that, these days central park is genteel and places like the great lawn are full of families. and not just families of were-people, there's also a vampyre veranda and a shed near which all of the creepy shinola-sniffing huffbots like to chillax.

yeah, i said it was an accident, i'll kill anyone who tries to say otherwise!!!

Cockroaches.. it's strange. All other bugs don't, uh, bug me in the least. But man, cucarachas are teh nasty. Living in Japan for a year, I saw them all the time, including in my apartment. Nothing worse than waking up and seeing one crawling up the wall mere inches from your face.

Other than that? I only fear growing old, and not accomplishing all my dreams and goals.
