I'm definately looking forward to it. I had noticed and lusted after this game, but lacked a 360. Now I needn't bother wanting :)

The same thing will come about for RE5. Give it about 6-8 months on PS360 and it will be announced for Wii.

sounds pretty impresive. 100 zombies on screen's about what i'd need to be convinced, sure the 360 can do more, but how many do you really need to sense overwhelming dread? I'd say fewer than a hundred

also: Dead Rising + Proper aiming / shooting system == one of my favorite games of all time...which is why the 360 version is only "kinda cool..."

larger text!? thank God! i didn't even play the game on the 360 but my roommate had it and that was my number 1 complaint! i was always asking, "seriously, didn't they have game testers??!"

the controls being like RE:4 is awesome too!

right on!

Let me guess, standard def TV?

/if not, damn, that text must have been really tiny.

Heck, a lot of early games on the 360 had awfully small text... they expected large TVs, but even then, it was tough to read.

... gawd, I know people don't like Kengo, but if you ever played it: You'd probably be blind by now if you actually tried reading the text.

I already have it for the 360 (with 50/50 achievements). I'd only get it if it had more extras, or if I had nothing else to play.

Day one purchase! :)

For reference, does anyone know how many zombies the 360 displayed at max?

Not an exact number but i own it and in areas we're talking hundredS.

This wont come close really but it's good for those that can't afford 360s, otherwise..it really should be played on the 360 IMO.

Really? more graphical power/displaying zombies that are essentially meaningless is better then a USABLE shooting / save system?

Sorry, no, Wii version of RE4 is the best there is, and Wii Dead rising feels like what the game should have been, an epic survival horror game with an insane over the top complex and stage.

Game looks great. I love games like this and RE4. Maybe Capcom will realize RE5 belongs on the Wii, too. Until then, I'll be happy playing Dead Rising

looking forward to it. See, my friend has a 360, and I been bugging him to get it, but he has a youger brother, so his parents refuse. So, this is the next best thing. I dont have a younger sib, so this is not a problem.

YES! Confirmed RE4 controls will make this game a release day purchase. I adored the way Leon was handled on the Wii, so I can wait to apply that control scheme again.

Dead Rising is the only XBOX360 title I would buy 360 for. Now I really don't have too.
Picking this game on day one!

In my case, it's Bioshock which is my 360-worthy purchase.

I will buy Bioshock for the PC. FPS are best suited for the PC. I already downloaded the demo via Steam & loved it.Though I need more memory another gig ($80)

i actually DESPISED the controls of RE:4 Wii edition, so i guess im not going to get it after all unless it offers customisable controls.

Out of curiosity, what didn't you like about them? Seems to me they were really intuitive.

I'm really not sure, I rented it a couple months ago and it was really hard to aim, not to mention you were required to stand still and hold a button and press another one to fire your pistol. In addition, the knife attack's waggle (and even the button press) had some lag to it, meaning the zombie would already be attacking you before your character would react. I would much rather use a traditional Wii FPS control scheme where not only can you run and gun, but it is much more accurate.

You do know that RE4 on the Wii let you use a GameCube controller or a classic controller if you don't like the remote for it, right?

but does that article say anywhere that they are going to let you do that with dead rising? for some reason i forgot all about that, maybe because the stupid manuals from Movie Gallery don't say anything other than the controls of the default control scheme. maybe i should rent it again, and play with the gcn controller then. thanks joe!

Great. I have a 360 now, but I don't know if this will be worth waiting for. For one, I could just get the game now at 10-20 bucks, and suffer the illegible text, lack of save points, but keep the graphics, or I could wait for this, suffer the graphical hit and the (possibly) raised price but be able to know what's going on and have adjustable difficulty. Hmm, ha-hmm, hmm...pi-pi-pigeon...

The text in Japanese might as well be 'Yes, Frank and Isabella stay together in the end' :P

Seems like they're really making it into an Action game. Consumable for the masses, and with better replayability

What you lose is the granduer of it, but if you prefer Action to sandbox-esque adventure, the Wii version will be the one to go for

Hey guys, congrats...

No fanboys stuff but after E3 I traded my Wii for a PS3 and havent looked back, Ive been very happy with my decision, but there is one glaring zit on the beauty of my gaming as of late...

NO DEAD RISING FOR ME!!!

Looks like a great game, I still check the Wii forums here every now and then to see whats going on, but congrats to Wii owners everywhere, this looks like a great game and if it wasnt for Nintendo's crapping on (I dont even consider myself mediorely hardcore) gamers and pushing of Wii Music, well, cmon guys, you understand...

The Condiut and Dead Rising look great, hope they are great experiences!!!!

Nintendo didn't 'crap on' gamers, they're creating products targeted at different audiences. is that so difficult to grasp?

there will still be mario/zelda/pikmin, titles such as wii music will merely join them on store shelves.
