I remember Beat It as one of those awesome pop songs with Guitars... I really hope they release one day Black & White (since it was the last good song from Jacko Wacko, and it has freaking Slash on it)

I hope Neversoft doesn't incorporate any unnecessarily complicated chords in Beat It. After all... no one wants to be defeated.

This thread highlights the difference between geeks and nerds.

Geeks = Michael Jackson, come on man...

Nerds = Yeah! Micheal Jackson rules!

Glad to see Smashing Pumpkins and Interpol on the setlist. Speaking of Interpol, I've yet to hear that song of theirs.

Here's hoping The big 4 of thrash metal and Maiden still make it in the game, and hopefully, Symphony X.

great track list.

Hot for Teacher will be amazing.

Are you gonna go my way is a great classic riff, maybe not hte deepest more influential music ever, but damn is it catchy.

Anything Jimi Hendrix is fucking sweet, and the fact that they put Wind Cries Mary on there is awesome.

I'm liking it.

You guys realize that 11/14 of these songs were on the leaked setlist and 14/14 of these bands were on the leaked setlist?

I don't want to buy this game. And I was thinking of buying Rock Band 2 BUT it releases on the PS3 very close to the LittleBigPlanet release date....so music games can screw off for now.

P.S. Activision you guys should make a deal with EA, switch Rock Band's "White Wedding" with "Rebel Yell" I would rather play the latter. And yes I don't know why I'm asking you this on joystiq. And I don't know why I think you would even listen to me. But just...do it.

I might actually have to rent this game to play "One Armed Scissor" by At the Drive In. I've been wanting that song in Rock Band for a long time.

Note, if you've read the fake list, you'll notice most of these songs just announced were on that list.

The hendrix and promise of huge variety is what keeps me excited about this game even after all of the great drum kit news.
