C'mon guys, give Dustin some rest. Last year the single topic of all OXM podcasts was Rock Band, and nobody was whinning so much about it.

OK, let's accept the fact that Dustin is in love with both Halo and GOW. Who isn't? At least those are great games. Betcha all there's a Carcassonne fan around here who is keeping her mouth shut because "everyone will laugh at me if I say so".

After hearing about the "feud" between podcasts, I decided to download the Joystiq podcast and give it a listen.

I would say it's incoherent at best. I even heard a few ramblings about the ownership of a soda can. Bad times. You would think carrying the flagship name of Joystiq would inspire these guys to put some effort into their "show"... I guess not.

Having listened regularly (every week) to the joystiq podcast, and listened to yours a few times in the beginning and kind of getting out of it for a bit, then listening to it again while bored at work and saw the Berg - McElroy feud blurb decided to give it a shot again. Sorry guys going with the Joystiq one. Good day to you sirs. Like the blog though and the aol thing sucks. good luck.

I will enter the schoolyard for a few mins...

I have tried to listen to the Joystiq podcast, many times. The guys seem like nice guys, but I often find myself nodding off (no jokes). I'm not taking any sides, just pointing out the obvious:

X3F podcast: Guys who complement each other well, can make some fun jokes, and just generally have fun.

Joystiq podcast: Eerie silence between comments that seem to be made because the guys feel obligated to speak a minimum number of words in order to be payed.
