British model Gemma Atkinson to suit up for Red Alert 3

When PS3 owners are left out of EA's Red Alert 3, they won't just be left wanting for the game's exotically tough real-time strategy. They'll also miss out on the video game acting debut of English actress/model/singer Gemma Atkinson, who will exchange her flimsy lingerie for something a little more formal as Allied communications officer Lt. Eva McKenna.

EA's PR machine tells us that Atkinson is best recognized for her work on the British soap Hollyoaks, as well as one of the region's most recognized models, though to be fair we're just going to have to take their word for it. The company also notes that she'll be on hand at the UK's M Festival gaming event this Friday, just make sure that when she talks you look into her eyes, and not upon her huge ... tracts of land.

If there is one thing Eva needs it's a voice that you will never get tired of, so I do hope she doesn't talk like she does in that interview or I'll probably go crazy.

I would believe that the phrase "yay boobs!" could be accurately used by more than just the expected group, but as a "@#$% heterosexual", what do I know?

t_m, the proble with the UK is that they have TOO much access to boobs ¬_¬ Girls practicaly throw themselves at you, and thus we have the highest pregnancy rate in Europe. Damn those drunken boob girls, damn them all.

ok I get casting useless glamour models/starlets like Carmen Electra in comedies but casting them for strategy war games? Really? I guess that's one way of winning respect for the video game industry.

Well, if she's from Hollyoaks then she won't be able to act her way out of a paper bag.

the only requirements to be in that show are the willingness to regularly strip off for no script-related reason, and being young and blonde. Its such a dumb show... i can't believe they've managed to make a show full of fit, half clothed blondes and make it so annoying as to be unwatchable.

(plus its darn confusing to try to keep track of which wooden blonde is which..)
