Amazon's Gears of War 2 Lancer bundle available now for $140

Gearheads, the time has come to drop everything and put in your pre-order for the exclusive Amazon.com Gears of War 2 bundle with full-size (non-working) Lancer replica. The bundle costs $140 or there's the option of taking the Limited Edition of the game with it for an extra $10. Go forth COGs, daddy Clifford needs a new house on the Riviera.

That's fucking awesome. I thought i was smaller, in which case I would agree that it is too expensive. But for a full-size replica, that is AWESOME.

I have to say that this is one of the cooler items ever available as a special edition. I wont be buying it of course, mostly because my future wife thinks I have enough useless crap laying about the house.

First thought was "this is awesome im totally getting this", followed shortly by "wait i have to keep my master chief helmet in the closet because its tacky and doesn't fit in my entertainment unit and there is no way may girlfriend will allow this to sit on my coffee table"

Yeah, that's what I said. You pay $140 and you still don't even get the limited edition. You have to pay a separate price which includes the extra $10 for the limited edition of the game.

Ballsy.

At least the Halo 3 cat helmet came with not only the limited edition of the game, but another disc of Halo 3 media.

So you're saying that if they released another version of the Halo 3 Legendary edition that cost $10 cheaper and left out that "Essentials" DVD that no one cared about you would have been upset?

Options.

$150 for the LE bundle, or if you don't care about the Tin and artbook, you're not forced to pay for it and can instead pay $140 for the regular bundle.
