Portable N+ subtracts $10, adds delay
The inevitable "Is that a ninja in your pocket?" jokes will have to wait a little while longer – two weeks, to be exact – as Atari has announced a release date set-back for the DS and PSP versions of N+. The games, which both include features, puzzles, and even screen-scrolling schemes exclusive to their respective platforms, will sneak onto shelves August 26. They were originally slated for August 12.
They say "good things come to those who wait," and in this case the "good thing" isn't just take-anywhere ninja magic ... it's $10 off the original $29.99 price point for both versions. Whether you're planning to stealthily snatch up the DS or PSP version of N+ (or both) they'll only set you back $19.99. Arigato, Atari!

and people wonder why we complain about braids price. this game is a much better deal with lots levels and multiplayer, for only 5 dollars more.

I call bullshit, I've actually played both games and know for a fact that N+ is, as they say, doodoo.
007craft @ Aug 8th 2008 11:10PM
your insane. N+ is the best game on XBLA to date. If It had a 400 point price tag it would of outsold gemoetry wars by now.
Im not to sure about N+ on ds and psp. Its made by a differnt company and the pysics are alot crappier (not ot mention the gaphics too. If you have an xbox, buy N+ for that. The only thing these games got going for them is the public level sharing which microsoft wont allow, curses.
Lord Bowser @ Aug 9th 2008 5:57AM
How can the physics be "crappier" if the game has yet to receive a release or demo? How are you privy to such information? Or are you just a dullard jackass?
So many questions.

lol, paradox

Yet, what about the XBL DLC???

It's easy, but fun.

We've already reviewed it, too :p

They didn't have an embargo on reviews before release.

I didn't even know there was an N+ coming on the portables. An easy buy for me, one of the best games in the last few years (Live Arcade or otherwise). The only dilemma is DS or PSP
The 2D platformer is going through a somewhat of a resurgence with this and Braid, the only thing that could cap it off nicely is a decent new Sonic or Super Mario Bros game.

Even though I love my DS to death and don't want any good game to be released elsewhere... a well done traditional Sonic on the PSP screen would be absolutely gorgeous.
