It'll be hilarious when out of nowhere a sexually perverted mutant makes his entrance.

So it'll basically be Transmetro 2, then?

I had no interest in this game up until I heard about this.

Between Transmetropolitan, Nextwave: Agents of H.A.T.E., Thunderbolts, Crooked Little Vein...Ellis is easily one of the best people in the comic book industry.

Great writer. He definitely up there with the greats like Neil Gaiman and Alan Moore. I discovered him back in 1994 when he wrote a few comics of Thor. Never have I ever seen a super hero comic written like that before. Even though he is not the lead writer on Dead Space now I know the story will be good. The webisodes are also good.

Umm... who?

Of course, if he is fully and positively confirmed to be bearded then I have the highest hopes for the game's quality.

Do I chastise you for not knowing Ellis, or do I compliment you on having a Rowsdower avatar?!

Dude, Warren Ellis is probably THE BEST current writer in comics these days. I like a lot of Moore's older stuff(Watchman, as do we all...), but he's gotten sort of...eh, curmudgeony as of late.
Ellis, on the other hand, proves that there is no genre he can't write. Sci-Fi, comedy, pulp, whatevs. Ellis slays it all.
