When we think back on our proudest achievements throughout our video gaming careers, a few notable moments come to mind -- for instance, the first time we caught 'em all. Or when we topped our friends' high scores on Pac-Man Championship Edition. The first time we beat the wretched wind tunnel level in Battletoads. Oh, and how could we forget -- that time we shuffled robo-Hitler off this mortal coil in Wolfenstein 3D. That guy was a jerk.
Unfortunately, the satisfaction one feels after putting the kibosh on a genocidist won't be present in Id Software and Raven's next installment in their Nazi-stomping franchise, Wolfenstein. In an interview with Eurogamer, Id lead artist Kevin Cloud confirmed that the Fuhrer will not be present in the upcoming title, claiming that the developer needs to "save something for future Wolfensteins." Who could possibly replace him as the game's nefarious evil boss, though? Eva Braun? Bowser, perhaps?

Hitler won't be in it because he is banned from Xbox Live.

Or you can do it the HL2 way of putting the story as you play the game

you're proud of beating a pokemon game? what are you, 10 years old?

It's a real achievement if you don't have any friends and managed to go outside and talk to people enough to complete the pokedex.

Pokemon (portable versions) is actually a reasonably deep dungeon crawler type game which doesn't hide the fact that the core focus of the game is the units and combat.

Hitler wasn't in RTCW either, the question is will Rob Zombie be in it?

I'll only buy it if Zombie is the final boss wielding a broadsword and he sings "Superbeast" over and over again as you endlessly battle him.

That picture made my day. Nobody else has commented on the fact that they manage to portray robo-hitler as fat AND a vampire. Look at his mouth. he has FANGS.
So really at that point it's so ridiculous it's not really offensive anymore. I mean, would fighting giant vampire robot KKK members offend you? It's too far in the realm of surrealism.

Well they replaced Nazi's with Commie's and aliens in Indy 4. Maybe the new baddy will be a Nazi alien...

No Hitler? But the English translation of the word "Wolfenstein" is "Kill Hitler". Well, it's either that or something to do with wolves. But the Spanish words for "Kill Hitler" are "Mate Hitler" which looks like it would be something totally different in English...

Eh, maybe they'll do something in East Germany, against the Socialists.
Or go the cooler route and make up a random story about some sort of Robot Vampire conspiracy, lurking in the hills of Bavaria

wolfenstein 3d is illegal here in germany, because it is not allowed to show nazi symbols in games. in the german version of return of castle wolfenstein the symbols were replaced by normal crosses eg. As it was not allowed to mention the name in german videogamemagazines the always called it hundefelsen 4e, which means dog rock 4e (wolfenstein means wolve rock). i am not sure if the new game would be allowed here in germany with hitler "participating".

Your government blows.
Maybe the developers will be more inventive, not setting another game in united socialist party Germany.
There're lots of men who would not just replace but one-up hitler as the boss: Mao, Stalin, FDR, David Ben-Guiron...
