Digital Unrest's Chris Simmons originally made this comic in April 2006, and we subsequently crashed his servers. The strip has bee remade this week with new art and, given that it never got a fair shot last time, we're going to throw it in again this week. Thanks for the trip down memory lane, Chris. Agreed, PA don't seem to bother with "funny" anymore

Anyone who doesn't like the Tootsie Pop joke is either a math nerd or a Penny Arcade geek.

neither, I just never played TF2

No it's just generic TF2 spy jokes are older that TF2.

In MNC comic, its disturbing to see an animal date a real woman, ugh! its just wrong!

(BTW I will love it if the cast weren't animals trying to be humans, it just reminds me of sonic fur fest).

Put a dog, or a coyote, or an eyeball, but not a human!

I can see your point. This hasn't been out and out explained in the comic, but all of our animal characters are gamers, where as the human one are non-gamers. I has hoping people would pick up on it, but it is a pretty long reach I suppose.

I had to vote for MNC. What he spoke of was my childhood, and I shall never forget it.
