Huh?
j.howlett @ Aug 11th 2008 1:12AM
aw man, we would get 6 people on the power pad at the same time.
Firtch @ Aug 11th 2008 1:41AM
Mine's been folded up for years. I bet if I took it out it would crack and crumble. But yeah, I remember the 6-person crew game, I think it was.
PhydeWice @ Aug 11th 2008 2:07AM
It works better when it's plugged in.
Gavin @ Aug 11th 2008 2:36AM
Powerpad...what a stupid gimmick. That type of stuff ended up buried in a closet somewhere or donated to the thrift store. Nobody would be stupid enough to fall for something like that...would they.....would they?!?!?!
Titanium_Orchid @ Aug 11th 2008 2:55AM
somebody is going to slip and break something...
hvnlysoldr @ Aug 11th 2008 3:33AM
I wanted to try that like jumping off the pad for the long jumps, but my dad simply refused to let me cheat. He actually beat me in many of the game's events since he actually learned the controls better than me.

Who knew the bass player for the Strokes also likes power-padding (verb).
ShadowXOR @ Aug 11th 2008 4:36AM

Sorry for the double post, please delete that.

I never had the power pad with my NES and really never wanted one. The zapper was enough for me.
SirFishouse @ Aug 11th 2008 7:43AM
I never wanted one of these. I saw all the circles and was like WTF... If they put an UP DOWN LEFT RIGHT and maybe a TRIANGLE X CIRCLE or SQUARE, Then maybe i would have bought one back then. MAYBE...
SirFishouse @ Aug 11th 2008 7:45AM
And a START SELECT too. Maybe...
Nate @ Aug 11th 2008 8:28AM
What's that guy doing using his feet for the thing? Doesn't he know you get a lot better results if you kneel next to it and pound your fists on it? We could run twice as fast and jump twice as far when you didn't have to worry about lifting your whole leg or body :)
