While promoting THQ's SmackDown Vs. Raw in London, the WWE's Randy Orton told Eurogamer that he wants to see more violence in games. He believes parents shouldn't be worrying about games when some don't even know their kids are watching shows like South Park.
The 28-year-old pro wrestler, who became a dad for the first time last month, believes movie violence has way more "f*cked up sh*t" than games. The man who makes a living off professional violence points out that playing Mortal Kombat when he was younger didn't hurt him in the long run. So, what's the father of a newborn play when he's not "too covered in poop"? Orton says he plays Mario Kart, but he doesn't use the wheel because he thinks it's "just a gimmick."

I wonder why he's naked, too.
Maybe he's just "helping that dove over the NoMercy sign"?

Yes, because obviously this picture was taken from his personal photo album. You can just make out Grandma sitting next to the NO MERCY logo.

@DA KID
Good god, have you ever even thought about how stupid you sound when you butcher almost every word you type?
Even if you talk like that, at least type intelligently.
Anyways, cheap horror films have way more gore than almost all "overly violent" video games. And it's happening to real people. Hostel, anyone?

I agree, if Hostel 1 and 2 were games, they would be banned from almost all places. PLus, Saw, it was pretty bad. I don't see why they aren't that stric with movies. I can go buy any R rated movie now, and I'm only 16. No one stops me. I Buy something like Elfen Lied, rated TV-MA for Violence, Gore, Strog Language, Sexual Content, and all they say is have a nice day. If I tried buying Halo 3 by myself, its "You aren't old enough". Well, only 3 more months till no one says that anymore.

Too bad WWE sucks now a days. Haven't consistently watched since Eddie Guerrero aka Latino Heat passed. :(
I tried watching the other day and it was turrible, just plain turrible as Sir Charles would say.

Pretty much. My friend was trying to get me into watching wrestling when I visited my hometown a couple of months back. Seems to be more mike time than the hot guy on guy action I was hoping to see.

The last great moment I remember watching was when Macho Man Savage beat the hell out of Ricky The Dragon Steamboat with a bell during the intercontinental championship. That was one of those OMFG moments. I really haven't watched wrestling much since then.

Wrestling was decently entertaining about 10 years ago, but after watching 10 minutes the other night (which for some reason SpikeTV has in their programming), it was way more talking and horrible acting.

Leave Randy alone >.< He has a point, despite the fact he's in wrestling. Kids are using games to escape from crime as well, I open up the newspaper this morning and what do I see? Another crime yet again blamed on GTA4, whats that now, the 10th blame or something? Its like its becoming thier excuse now.
But yet still for the likes of this country games has nothing to do with it, children are in gangs, they are easily influenced by thier peers to smoke, one boy that knew my brother even went so far as to petrol bomb his old school, it had nothing to do with games at all, and he was never like that when he knew my brother.
Parents and society instead of trying to deal with the situation find the fastest and cheapest way to solve the situation, blame it on games and movies, are you telling me that if there was no rap and hip hop, if there was no movies, if there was no games that crime would stop? What about the news? I see more shooting and crime etc shown on Crimewatch and the news and those stupid cctv daytime programs where they proove the police is 'AMAZING' on a daily basis then I do in movies.
What about the internet? I type in 'porn', 'killing' or whatnot into google search and bam, there you are presented with everything you need to know about making a bomb, hacking computers even the best way to stab someone. And its still games and movies? When are people seriously going to open thier eyes.

Know whats funny? I went through a stage when I was younger of being a fan of WWE, then stopped, then got into it again during the last year of Eddie's life, when he died my zest for WWE drained, if I see if while flicking through channels when bored, I'll watch for a laugh, but I can't get into it like I used to be.
However....saying that...
I have yet to miss out on a WWE game on PS2, PS3, 360 or PSP :) I love the games. Especially with people to play it against ^^

Cronenberg movies (especially his recent Viggo Mortensen ones) can be extremely violent. In small doses but when the violence comes its definitely far from cartoony.
