We are, perhaps, belaboring the point now, but we really like Braid. Some of us like it more than others -- maybe even to an unhealthy degree -- but we all agree that it's a pretty wonderful game. But it wouldn't be a Fancast if all we did was gush about Braid (at least that what everyone told me when I wouldn't shut up about it), so we cover the usual gamut of Xbox 360 news and welcome back our long lost "Best Comment of the Week" feature. ok, i'm probobly gonna get flamed BUT:

i played the demo of braid... it was meh... i didnt HATE it didnt LOVE it.... I was thinking about buying it, then remembered it was 1200 and decided not to.

Nah, you wont get flamed at all.. Braid is a game that only has 2 sides to it..

You either absolutely love it..

Is the show supposed to end during the Brett Favre news? Anyone else having this issue?

Mine dies at the same spot...

Although it's only playing for about 40 minutes, iTunes is distorting the time so it looks like it's going for the full 1:24... I've tried the iTunes feed, the MP3 feed, and downloading the MP3 directly. All have the same problem. The AAC seems to be OK, though.

I don't know what's going on, I'll try to re-upload the file.

Okay, I'm deleting it from our server and completely re-uploading. Hopefully be fixed in half hour or so.

I *think* it's fixed. Anyone who downloaded from iTunes should re-download. I just re-uploaded the same file with a slightly different name. I've managed to listen to the whole thing, so I think it's okay now.

Btw, does anyone know the quality of the lancer?

After hearing the fancast in its entirety, I really have no idea how Dustin McElroy/Joystiq can berate you guys and basically treat you like Joystiqs red headed step child? The X3F podcast is leaps and bounds waaaaay more entertaining and informative then their podcast.

I’ve tried listening to Joystiq’s podcast and I liken it to a lecture given by a monotonous and stale Ben Stein. Sure they‘re podcast is informative but I if only I could stay awake long enough to “enjoy” the fruit of their labor.

Maybe you guys can do the Joystiq podcast if (heaven forbid) the x3f site goes under. Lord knows that podcast needs a good kick in the emergence hole.

Love the 'cast guys. Keep up the top notch work.
