All eight Mega Man 9 boss sprites revealed

Normally used only for the purpose of gauging exactly how sedentary a gamer's lifestyle is, Xbox 360 Achievements have finally proven their value to the rest of the world -- even the non-360-owning portion -- thanks to Capcom. The icons associated with the Mega Man 9 achievements just happen to be black-and-white renditions of character sprites from the game, including all eight bosses! If partial greyscale sprites are all we can get for now, we'll take 'em! And hastily make a Mega Man 2-style character select screen out of them!

As for the achievements themselves, they "reveal" secrets like the fact that Dr. Wily is in the game. Please do not tell us you consider that a spoiler.

Now to figure out the order, hmm.

Well Splash should take out plug and/or magma
Concrete take out splash?
Tornado takes concrete and or hornet?
Galaxy (?) takes out tornado/jewel?

Did the old mega-man games actually have logic dictate boss vulnerabilities? I never noticed.

Well, lets see, 'll go with Megaman 1

Elecman was weak to cutmans attack. Cut the power suply to anything and that stops to function
Cutman was weak to Gutsman attack. Rock beats scicors
Iceman was weak to Elecmans attack. Its a fact that water conduct electricity and and hurts more. Water is weak to thunder
Fireman was weak to iceman attack. this one doesn't need much explanation, does it?
Bomb man was weak to firemans attack. Fires makes bombs blow away!!!
gutsman was weak to bombsman attack. bombs destroys rocks

As far for Megaman 1, yes i cans see the logic

I hadn't even realized it was coming out on the other platforms. Although, after reading the comments on the source page, I think it'll be a huge flop on 360 and PS3. Most of the PS360 users that commented on it either think it'll be in HD or have updated graphics. lol, HD 8-bit graphics. They should've just kept it on Wiiware.

I, for one (owner of a Wii and a PS3), will be buying it for the PS3.

And who says 8 bits can't translate to HD?

How can you make 8-bit graphics HD? Wouldn't that just make the pixels look extra blocky? And why would you rather get it to play on a controller so completely unnatural for an 8-bit, two button game?
