Bionic Commando and Pub Games release to XBLA

Any idea how you get the pre-order code? When I look at amazon's, gamestop, bestbuy pre-order site, I don't see anything that even mentions this deal. I must be missing something.

wow i was thinking bionic commando was going to coast the same as briad. not to get Richard mad, but i would easily pay 1200 points for bionic commando over braid.

I just got my Pub Games code from Amazon.com. When I try and enter it I get the "This code is invalid" error... WTF?!?! Anyone else? (Yes, I've triple-checked the code.)

Maybe it was a special ed. that is no longer available for the free pub games. was like that when i got civ rev. for 360. couldnt find the special dlc anywhere

There are wide spread reports of the code not working. I was going to try and email this info in this morning, but my noobish lack of direction where to email kept me from it.
I hope to have it up later, but if not BC:Rearmed will keep me plenty busy.

I picked my code up yesterday from GameStop and it's not working. Yes, I checked it multiple times. I then read the fine print on the back and it says the code must be redeemed before 7/1/09. I guess someone at Microsoft needs to reactivate these codes and then it will work. Until then, my gold hording must wait.

Damn Gamestop and their ridiculousness. I went down their to pick up my pre-order bonus and they pulled they ol "you need to pre-order the limited edition to get the bonus" bullshit.

I am so sick of their crap. Bunch of little 18 year old losers on a stupid power trip. I swear to god, they think they know more about games than you and they don't know shit. They never even heard of joystiq or kotaku. I just want to slap that half a mustache off that fat bastard and tell him to hit up his Wii fit some more.

At first my code didn't work this morning. I tried it again at 9:30 and it finally worked. My suggestion is to just keep trying. My GT is Death Toll if anyone wants proof that I have the game.

i preordered from GS the other day and got my code. i've tried it a few times before going to work and it didnt work. checked out some forums and it sounds like its pretty much happening to everyone. hopefully they'll get it fixed soon.

and i went by target yesterday to get some cheap MS points. so i'll be going bionic commando after work today. and maybe go this weekend before the sale ends to get a few more points for next week. this is easily the most i've ever messed with live arcade. keep the great games coming!

Without any doubt, Bionic Commando: Rearmed is one of the top 5 games available on Xbox Live Arcade. Buy it guys. Just do it! It makes me wanna wear shades all day!

Like I mentioned earlier today to a friend, the game is farking retrotastic. It's what the NES developers could only DREAM of back in the mid 80's. It really is a steal at $10; I actually spent some extra money on downloading the soundtrack on iTunes today! (Do a search for Bionic Commando or Simon Viklund.)

Those gamers out there over the age of 20 (I'm 28) will enjoy this game the most, I'd wager..due to the sheer retro feel of the whole thing. Again, just pure gold from Capcom and GRIN.

I purchased Braid this past weekend and yes it's got it's own niche and flavor, but with all due respect to Richard, it's nowhere near as re-playable or as enjoyable as BC:Rearmed is. (It's also $5 cheaper, too!)
Honestly however, comparing the two games is unfair.


Lastly, if you buy the game (did I mention you should?), don't overlook the 'Top Secret' trailer for the full retail Bionic Commando game coming to the 360. It's hidden in the pause menu and is about 100MB. It's got me really interested!

I haven't bothered pre-ordering Fable, I'll get the pub games the old fashioned way and hopefully be able to find it AT LEAST £5 cheaper than Game & Gamestation are selling it for come release day.

Bionic Commando is the real deal and it only cost 800 points. It is by far leaps and bounds ahead of a certain indi developed game that feels its worth more money than this which is just not possible. Capcom is really serving it up in the digital download era and with a bit of luck they will push would be overcharging indi developers right out of the picture.
Now if your actually a good indi developer like voidstar for example well just keep doing what you do and everything will fall into place.

As far as the pub games go I care very little for Fable but I see there is an issue already.
Honestly what do you people expect from a game whose lead developer publicly apologized about his last Fable game being a failure?
Fable 2 honestly is one of those games that would have faired much better on all consoles in terms of sales. This game is doomed on the 360 and will have poor sales and will be long forgotten when awards are being handed out at the end of the year right alongside Toohuman. Fallout 3 is gonna savage these games.

i say unless you got the free fable code don't even bother with pub games. and heres why the games SUCK. the only one that i found to be some what fun is the card tower game, which is all about chance. the arch game is meh, and the other slots ripoff has a little to no chance of winning and sometimes when you get two of one symbol they don't even reward you. just thought i'd tell you all.

"Release" is not an intransitive verb. You're a news site. Try to maintain at least some veneer of professionalism.

BCR is absolutly amazing. I dont think anyone has mentioned the humor in this game yet. I have been in a pissed off mood for the past couple of days and this video game just made me laugh harder than any game before. The conersation between the two Nazis when they are talking about the improbability of someone throwing barrells at the boss. Its classic guys. I dont want to ruin it but im in a much better mood now.

It's a criminal sin there's no online tournament multiplayer for Keystone or Fortune's Tower. CRIMINAL. Playing against the AI is fun - playing against people would be awesome.

BCR is great. It brings back so many memories of playing this game for hours at my neighbor's house growing up. The graphics are spot on and are guarenteed to amaze. Buy it now, people!
