Here's a question for you. If MTV Games won't publish Brütal Legend, a video game about an axe wielding roadie who lives the legend of rock and roll and casts magic spells with a guitar, who will? When asked by The Cut Scene whether or not they the company would publish Tim Schafer's recently displaced title, MTV -- that's "Music Television" -- replied "We are big fans of Tim Schafer. We hope the game finds a good home." In other words: no.
While Double Fine assures fans that Brütal Legend is "fine" despite getting the boot from Activision, we have to wonder just who will publish the thing. We hope a publisher is revealed soon, lest Brütal Legend's title becomes an ironically accurate description of the game's development.

If I had a liquid income, I would publish this game myself. Looks awesome!

If EA does pick this up , will they fail to promote it just like the did Oddworld Stranger.
Most likely.

I loved the trailer for this, kept wondering when I was coming out. You'd think with all the GH and RB hooplah going on another game that features music so heavily might get a chance too. Guess not.

Majorly disappointed. I was really looking forward to this.
I've got a colour printer and DVD-burner so if they need a publisher.....

If MS is smart, they try and publish this game under its Microsoft Game Studios label.
It has a chance of not being a big seller, just like last Double Fine/Schafer title, but critics love it so it will give them good rep by rescue-ing/ publishing such alternative title (not only publishing the big blockbusters like Halo and Ninja Gaiden).
MS can also make the game an x360 Exclusive and do some Jack Black&Motörhead Lemmy HD video interview promotion + gamedemo on Marketplace to let us all know about the game.
