The European PlayStation Store is in for a real technological treat this Thursday, according to a moderator on the Official PlayStation Community forums. Customers scoping the virtual aisles for something more specific than a genre will be able to -- get this -- perform an A-Z search for any games, demos or add-on content. So, you type in a name and the computer will automagically find it for you!
Boy, that sort of utility would be awfully helpful here on the internet. If anyone out there comes up with something vaguely like it, just give us a shout.

The LIVE service really needs this. So I can click a letter and go straight to those letters. Having to scroll from # or A to a game that starts with S takes too long and I normally give up.

The triggers scroll down one page at a time so you can get to the bottom of the page in just a few seconds if you need to.
But I do agree a search would make it more useful. Same goes for PS store. I like the look of the store but not a big fan of the way some of the content is ordered.

I've been known to do the same.

Sigh, I also agree with how Xbox Live should add a search or browse feature.

Is this really worthy of a news story?
I mean, srsrly, it's just a suggestion engine. It's pretty common nowadays.

dude i was thinking the same thing. i have both a US and EU PSN account and i can tell you that the EU store has next to nothing. they dont even have the video store. this would be more useful in the US store or Live (if it doesnt have it) honestly.
