Their list is pretty silly. There are countless games from the NES era that are damn near impossible.

Off the top of my head: Ikari Warriors (without the cheat code), Milon's Secret Castle, Blaster Master, any top-down or side-view shooter game like Galaga, RC Pro-Am, City Connection, Donkey Kong, and the list goes on.

Can no one remember Silver Surfer on the NES? I dare anyone to make it through just one of the levels. It has a choice screen like Megaman. Pick ANY one of the levels and you will give up out of sheer impossibility.

Ninja Gaiden 2, Bionic Commando, and Legendary Wings were my mist difficult games. Original Castlevania and Gouls & Ghosts rank up there too...

Devil May Cry 3 (regular edition, Normal difficulty setting on a first play-through) and Ninja Gaiden for the original Xbox are my only incursions on that list. I've played most of the other games though but never gotten too far, and threw Genesis Ghouls and Ghosts (or was it Goblins?) against the wall when I found out I'd have to do it all over again.
Still give Ikaruga a try every now and then and I'm F-Zero GX is on my "must play more" list. Aside for a few games, I don't have much patience to go through NES games (but for a list as NES flooded as this, they're missing Yo! Noid...)
