Rumor: Mega Man 9 Achievements are evil
If there's one thing you'll see a lot during your stroll through Mega Man 9's trap-laden, pit-filled and exceedingly deadly memory lane, it's the poor little robot boy exploding into a booming bloom of pulsating energy. Unfortunately, there appears to be no achievement for dying one billion times -- at least not in the list of in-game gongs posted by Inside MGC.
So, how about beating the game without dying? Or without using energy tanks? How confident are you about defeating every boss using only the standard buster ... or without taking damage? Well, it looks like we'll be going for the WiiWare version of the game after all. We just can't deal with Capcom giving us a retro-wrapped gift with one hand and plucking Xbox 360 Achievements (or PSN Trophies?) out of our grasp with the other. Those meanies!

I want to know, why out of all the Mega Man games, are they doing number 9?
j.howlett @ Aug 13th 2008 2:54PM
because it comes after 8 maybe?

Because its the only megaman game in the series that's never been done
We have
Megaman 1-6 on the Nes
Megaman 7 on the SNES (US only)
Megaman 8 on the PSX and Saturn
Megaman & Bass on SNES (Japan only) then ported to GBA
Megaman & Bass 2 on WonderSwan
Megaman Power Battles 1 and 2 on Arcade
But there's no Megaman 9, so they are working on it, and keeping the NES like graphics/gameplay just for the nostalgia factor

Feh, those acheivments aren't hard. If you can't beat a Mega Man game without dying after a few times, or without an energy tank, you are not a Mega Man Master.
Hell, I can beat Mega Man 1 without even being hit sometimes.

dudes do not get this game for the 360 if they gonna pull out this bullsh1t i see some comments n some guys fell so cocky oh yeah i can beat no problem bla bla bla , i download the demo on ps3 n is kind of really hard cuz if u die almost in the end of the mission then u will have to start all over again , if i get it i will get on Ps3 avoid 360 so they know by next time not to pull out sh1t on us , samurai shodown 2 and duke nukem have nice achievements , not too easy but not too hard , that is the perfect arcade game
