Sony has reiterated that there are no plans to bring Siren: Blood Curse to Blu-ray in North America. MTV Multiplayer was told by a company rep that "at this time" the intent is to have disc-based versions of the game available only in Europe and Asia. Considering there's no region lock on PS3 games, there's always the option of importing.
As with all "at this time" statements, we'll just have to wait and see what happens. Considering the full game of Siren is a 9 gigglebyte download on the PSN, patience will have to be practiced whatever way North American consumers want to purchase the title.

I don't have a PS3, and probably never will, and while this game is not something that interests me I have to say that it has bloody amazing graphics.

If there was a way to guarantee that the downloads won't go away, I don't have a problem with it, but I don't think they can guarantee that the download won't go away.

I haven't even tried the demo yet, but that picture made me initially think of Nate Drake(from UNCHARTED) being stuck in SILENT HILL or something...

I just brought the first 4 episodes off of psn and to be honest, it was pretty boring. I'm really tying to get into the game but I just can't. Anyone here know if the later episodes are better than the first four?

If you don't like survival horror, why would you buy a survival horror game?

Dunno. I played the first 3 and, while the escort missions pissed me off a bit, it's got some decent stealth elements as well as a fun zombie-bludgeoning mechanic that's going to make me at least get the next 4 eps.

You just said you don't like survival horror when you said "I don't like this game".

Got this - good game so far. Would be nice to have it on disc, though, rather than DL & install 12 separate packages.

This is a game I'd get if I had a PS3. And if it was available on disc. I didn't get Shivering Isles until I could purchase it on disc.

Well if they don't put it on a disc they don't have to worry about ever lowering the price or having a sale they don't want. Plus since you can only get it from their network they don't have to worry about competition pricing between stores!

I imported the game from game-asia. There's till a rather large install (5gb), but I don't mind that part. It was almost $20 more, but I like the option of being able to sell it later.
My only worry is that any possible patches may not be available to me. That may never be an issue though.

Then they have no interest in selling it to me; simple as that. I'm not paying $40 for a fucking download that takes up 15% of my HD. Hell with that.

Hey guys,
I plan on (eventually) installing a hard drive with more capacity than my 60GB into the PS3. But, problem is, I've already got tons of downloads, game saves, installs, etc. already on the hard drive.
Is there any way to easily copy all that data onto the new hard drive? I'll be honest, I'm not terribly tech savvy - I pretty much know enough to get me by. I'm a simple man.
