This is old news if you've been in the homebrew scene, but what does it matter? 360, Playstation 3 plays DVDs big wow. I have a Wii been able to watch DVDs on it for a long while but I'll stick with the Blu Rays instead

Maybe this'll be a wake-up call to Nintendo to release some sort of firmware update that'll allow DVDs to be played, since it apparently doesn't have to do with the hardware but the software.

Duh. Anyone who actually believed it was a hardware issue probably hasn't got a dvd rom drive in his or her PC.
