WTF people?! you guys are willing to spend $60 on a game becuz it comes on a DVD but you wont spend $15 on a game because its downloadable with the reasoning that it must be "inferior" and not worth the $15 because its downloadable?!

Support indie publishers!!! they do it for the love of the game and not the financial gain!!

i wish i didnt have so much work on my desk otherwise i would have contributed a comment with some intelligence.

The fear of these good games coming out at 1200 points is that other companies will begin releasing their less valuable games at those prices.

I will gladly put in 1200 MS points for this game. Hell I'd have paid 1800 for it easily too. $15 for an amazing game that has been 2 years in the making, with TONS of content to unlock, muliplayer, an arena mode, different weapons, sidekicks, etc. What $60 game even has this much replay value now-a-days? Hell look at all the hype for madden 09...THEY MAKE A GAME EVERY YEAR! And next year this game will be in the $10 bin. How much do you think it cost to have people working for 2 years?
If you like the game consider it a contribution you should be glad to make so they can afford to make other great games. If all you care about is price not quality then save your cash for your $7 "value" meal

*sighs* Insert fear of 1200 MS points becoming the new standard here.

Unfortunately, considering I am one of the people who bought Braid and enjoyed it, and the fact that Castle Crushers will sell like hotcakes. half of me want's to say just suck it up and become even more picky about how you spend your points since this is going to become the norm soon.

That said, I'll give Castle Crushers the same thing I gave Braid: Try the demo and see how I like it. I just hope they include multiplayer in it.

Personally, I don't much care if 1200 becomes the norm for new arcade releases, because I only buy the outstanding additions.
I'm sure my last 4 or 5 arcade purchases were 1200 anyway, and of course Castle Crashers will be toppled onto the pile.

I think X3F's extensive Castle Crashers news and information posting has contributed greatly to the readers' new obsession with arcade pricing.
It's as if there has been an invisible bridge laid down linking Castle Crashers to all other recent releases.

I believe 1200 will be the steady median for a long time to come at this point. It feels like a fair price for independent titles...as long as they're good...

wow, why are they changing it from 400 and 800 points. They are being really dirty by adding this 1200 points idea. I didn't mind buying the Xbox games for that price but not for an arcade game. Living in Canada and having to pay about 1.5 times as much even though the dollars are very comparable is also aggravating. My friend who owns a PS3 is always telling me about the pricing change Sony did for Canadian Gamers over a year ago, making me think about M$ a little differently.
