Nintendo sends Thank-You note to E3 attendees

We received a nice letter from Nintendo of America today, thanking us for our attendance at their E3 2008 media briefing (we think the community has already sent their messages to NoA). At first, we were excited to have authentic signature from famous Nintendo executives Reggie Fils-Aime, Cammie Dunaway and Denise Kaigler (we like to collect them like pokemon).

Our excitement then quickly turned to utter disappointment (some would call that appropriate). As it turns out, every attendee got the same letter, complete with the same signatures in the exact same spots. After we discovered the names were stamped on, their eBay value immediately dropped from US $0.01 to three pieces of hair and a first-print of Daikatana.

Hey it's practically a "I'm sorry" note.

it is an Im Sorry note. Look closely and you can see the text printed with white ink. nintendo messed up and they think a piece of paper will fix it. Nope, only Metroid, Zelda, and a REAL Mario Game can fix that.

Anyway that was probably the worst E3 conference ever.

And thank you Nintendo, for bringing more suckage than ever expected. We did smile and laugh at how moronic your E3 presentations were. Here's a tip for you Nintendo, take all that money you are making off the great moronic unwashed masses and buy a fucking clue.

(BTW: I did take a show yesterday, and do on a regular basis. And I pay, and enjoy my Wii. I would rather have a great game once and a while, and well, have some sort of life besides video games, then brag about how 'hardcore' of a gamer I am. But that's just me.)

Well, some of us can do things surf and post on blogs when there's downtime at work.

They should have sent apology letters for putting people through that hell. At least at home I could do something more productive like black out or bash my head in with a brick. I feel bad for the journalists who were forced to pay attention to all of it and write on it.

Well I wasn't aware that I was pissed about it. Here I thought I'd rub it in and constantly remind you nintendo fans how bad it was. I guess I'm a little pissed they wasted over an hour of my life, as I've said before, that could have been used for something more productive (like anything! guess I'm not the only one who needs help with reading comprehension). I'm upset that they did what they did at a gamer event full of gamer journalists, and more or less spit in each one of their faces.

Am I still pissed about it? Nah, but you should have known I and many others would use this to remind you nintendo guys where your beloved company has placed its interests for a long time.

If only there were more people that were as pissed off and vocal as tmac is back when TV took a turn for the shitter maybe we wouldn't all be stuck having to choose between "So You Think Your Mom Can Dance in a Chicken Suit While Eating a Turkey Leg?" and "Are you Smarter than the Retarded Executive that Decided to Air this Show?".

Why are the Sony fanboys like Gavin and tmac so bitter about this? You'd think that they would've wanted Nintendo's presentation to be as terrible as it was, yet they seem almost disappointed. Are you guys in the Nintendo closet? 'Cause you can come out whenever; we don't judge here.

I don't even own a PS3 genius....I've owned every single Nintendo home console released in North America an the Wii is the first I don't want anything to do with. I won't buy one, EVER. The library of games is horrible and the online setup is a joke. Do not want.

for people who are in the "Sony closet" and/or "MS closet", trust me lack of money isnt the reason they dont own Wiis. they straight up just think the system sucks.
