Oh so many.. how do you choose? Its like choosing a favorite child. Quick Man is definitely one of my favorites.. though his level is probably the worst of the entire series.

I also enjoy Crash Man, whose level's music is pretty killer. (Of course if killer music is the only chriteria for ametiveness, I'm pretty much stuck between a dozen or so)

Everything koehler said is exactly how I feel. I like the Robot Masters mostly on their themes alone, and Crash Man is the bestest of the bestest.

I always wondered about Bubbleman, how do bubbles hurt Megaman? I mean, they're bubbles, if anything, he should feel clean and refreshed after a good scrub?

If I recall correctly, and sadly I am 99% sure I do. The weapon was called "Lead Bubble". So apparently the bubbles were made of translucent... lead. Also would explain why they just dropped to the ground and rolled away.

Metal Man, because his weapon is awesome.

How awesome?

So awesome.

specially because you can kill metal with his own weapon only with 1 shot. I loled pretty hard when I tried using thei own weapons to defeat the robots master and this happened. Man my stomach hurted pretty bad of all the laugh

For legitimate respect, my favorite is probably Quick Man. Sure, the fact that he has an adjective instead of a noun in his name makes him sort of an odd ball, but he looks cool and has a unique place in the Mega Man world.

For mockery purposes, I love all the redundant guys.

Shade Man and Shadow Man.

Bomb Man, Crash Man, Napalm Man and Grenade Man.

Ice Man, Blizzard Man, Freeze Man, Frost Man, and Cold Man.

The list goes on.

I can safely say any of the mega man 2 bosses are my fave! Best bot, Protoman hands down! Who doesn't love that catchy whistle???

Amen to that. I catch myself whistling his tune all the time. I was pissed that they made Proto Man evil in the Ruby-Spears cartoon.

For some reason I've always loved Gravity man. Maybe it is because he looked so badass on the MM5 Boxart, or maybe because his weapon makes all the little baddies soar into outer space, either way he's great.

My other favorite is cutman due to his design, attack, and theme music which rocks so hard.

I can't believe no one mentioned Pharaoh Man.

I mean come on...an evil robot Pharaoh? Only in Mega Man.

I'd say Bubble Man for his music, but Wood Man out of.... sheer genius.

I mean... building a robot out of wood? That's outstanding... with wood gears and rope-wires... and whatnot. Sheer amazing scientific skill is the master of this creation.
And able to shoot leaves that can hurt other robots? Astounding.

My favorite was Tomahawkman (Megaman 6). The 8 Robot Masters in Megama 6 each represented a country (Flame = Saudi Arabia, Blizzard = Antarctica [?], Plant = Brazil, Tomahawk = USA, Yamato = Japan, Knight = England, Centaur = Greece, Wind = China). As an American, I support the American robot, Tomahawkman. Though I should also support Knightman and Windman because those two actually WERE created by American Megaman fans.

Bubble Man.

And as SoshiKitai says, his stage has IMO the best music in MM2.

Metalman, Napalmman and Blizzardman, in terms of design.

Bubbleman and Woodman have my favorite stages though =) *nostalgic*

Heh...feels out of place with all these people choosing 8-bit masters, but my faves have always been Clownman and Astroman.
