Brash planning Prison Break game

Yes, as in a game based on the tedious television show starring perennially pouting Wentworth Whatshisface. Who better to act as warden to this societal dreg than Brash Entertainment, the house that built Jumper: Griffin's Story, Alvin & The Chipmunks and (and!) Space Chimps?According to Gamespot, the Prison Break video game turned itself in via an advert tucked inside the show's recent Season 3 DVD box set. Aside from a February 2009 release window, little else is known about the project. We'd normally submit a scenario about siblings busting out of a prison -- a "prison break" if you will -- but the show managed to drag on even after its titular event had unfolded. But hey, people are still watching, so the game may just succeed in finding a captive audience.

Well when you've got pedophiles, traitors, backstabbers, psychos, snitches, cowards and spies as partners, with die-hard loyalists, pill-popping agents, and bosses that don't utter words, only write down commands on slips of paper...and a girlfriend to worry about, it rounds out to about 3 seasons!

It's hilarious that they still call it "Prison Break" when they aren't in prison. This is a prime example of what's wrong with American TV: they should have ended the series when they, you know, BROKE OUT OF PRISON. And then maybe come up with, I dunno, a new idea?
Not that the first season was good or anything, but at least it made sense with the frickin' title.

whats your problem? Its a good show, and season 1 and 2 were really well done. There was stuff happening in late season 2 that was planned all the way from season 1. They didnt decide to make a tv show and not plan what would happen once out of prison. Ok season 3 could of been better, but blame that on the writers strike, and the fact that the actress who played sarah left the show because she had a baby in real life (shes back for season 4)
And if you watched it, you would realize that the title "prison break" applies in all seasons, as season 1 and 3 are completely about breaking out of prison (different prisons) and season 2 does have a few episodes where they try to break lg out of custody.
Now I dont know how the game will turn out, but im looking forward to it. Sounds like it would make a great adventure/puzzle game. This might make up for my dissapointment in finding out that the dexter game was a crappy iphone thing instead of a real game.

Oh no, you're clearly mistaken. They broke out, but then went back in, but got out, but then had to BREAK BACK IN! As you can see, you will never know where this show will go next!

If you're willing to suspend disbelief, its actually a good show. Season 1 (the first breakout) was definitely the best of the 3, but the other two were decent as well (with the third being the better of the two).
A game though, I have absolutely no interest in. Besides, I doubt any game about breaking out of a prison would compare to the excellent Riddick game.

This is one of my favorite TV shows, Season 1 & 2 were both great. Season 3 was good but they really need to call it soon. If they keep stretching it I'm sure it'll turn stale.
I've always wondered what a game could play like but I'm sure it's gonna turn out nothing like I have in my head lol. There's potential but I'm sure this is gonna be a cash grab.

How many seasons can this show possibly last? There's only so much breaking out of prison you can do before it gets old. Just my opinion though.

Sure but Season 3 was... I mean, come on. It was pretty terrible. This show was originally designed to be a 1 season replacement for 24 but it did well so Fox decided to milk it.

This was one of the best shows when it first aired. I havn't watched it in awhile (I normally just wait until full seasons are done to watch stuff), but it couldn't have gotten that bad.
Sure, the video game will probably suck, but I don't see how this post by Ludwig should show the entire series in a negative light.

I'm a big fan of Prison Break. But I can understand if people disagree with me. I'm really skeptical about this game. I mean, Feb 09? That's a bit quick don't you think? Should be 2010. And being a huge Lost fan and getting exited about Via Domus before that was released. I mean, good game (6/10) but not worth the wait.

Btw your wrong about this being a 1 season show. they people who made prison break designed it to be a 10 season show so we have loads more to come. your all pathetic if u dnt like it why do u keep watching it. it just doesnt make sense. i truely love it and cant wait to watch season 4 and the rest. every seasaon has tonnes of different twists. its the best tv show out. what would you rather watch corronation street or eastenders or some crap like that. prison break rules,game will be bad tho like the bourne conspiracy game. terrible. o wel.

Damien it was 13 episode, and I mean, thank God thay did make into one season two seasons three seasons four and five meybe six seasons.
Prison Break are the beast series with LOST, I think LOST via domus was good a 5 out of ten hopes the planned sequel will fill everyrhing out and be more open in everything.
And I hopes Prison Break the video game comes out in Europe in may 2009 or something.
