Civilization Revolution pack-in DLC available for redemption

Those who purchased Civilization Revolution know the game shipped with a pack-in card with a code to download exclusive content based on their retailer of choice. The only problem is, the content was not available when the game launched. A few days ago the 2K Games Code Redemption site updated to reveal pack-in cards can now be used to download the free pack via the Xbox Live Marketplace. Using the code found packed in with your copy of Civilization Revolution, gamers can get a Marketplace code good for a download of fresh content for the turn-based strategy game. What is the content? I didn't even know about any pack-in codes... but i bought mine at FutureShop in Canada anyway... argh!

I was wondering why my "new" copy of Civ Rev that I bought last week had been opened and rewrapped. Sons o' bitches!!! Gamestop opened my game, took out the code, and then rewrapped it and sold it as new! That is f'd up!

Same for me... Bought at Gamestop, yet no code to be found.

Hmm. Maybe I didn't look very hard through the paper in my box. I bought mine online through Barnes & Noble (I had gift cards - wouldn't normally buy games through them).

Are these one-use codes, or are they generic ones that I can just google and get all of them?

they're one-use codes that came on a little square piece of paper tucked behind the manual. Since Barnes & Noble isn't Best Buy, Gamestop, or Target; which seem to be the only stores that did the pack-in promo, that's probably why you didn't get one.

Ah - I meant to mention that games bought through Barnes & Noble online are provided through Gamestop, so I ought to have got one.

I don't think I checked though all the jazz that came in the box though - with any luck, I'll have a code...

Excellent, hopefully you'll have one then! I don't think gamestop.com has the same bad habit of opening games and then selling them as new as their brick & mortars do...

Can we buy the packs we didn't get codes for? Or are these a super-limited promo only thing?

I got mine at Walmart and it has a code (as well as a big sticker on the cover that says includes free DLC)... Ill have to wait til I get home to find out what I get.

Haven't picked up my copy yet, but since I have a $10 off $75 at Best Buy, I'm leaning towards there.

WTF?!? I bought my copy in Best Buy here in California and there was NO code, just the manual, the game, and nothing to differentiate it from any other game bought ever.

the gamestop vouchers only were for the stores in canada so if you got it in the us youre not gonna have it...pretty gank if you ask me

Bought mine at Target in Norman, OK.

I got it a week after it was released and no code whatsoever. Talk about ghey.

Just contacted 2K support. The redemption code was only with the initial launch. If you missed out on those your sh*t out of luck.

They also said that if you had a code in your game it would be indicated by a big sticker on the box.

Interesting side note, I did not know that 2K support was based in Australia either.

So what do you get if you bought it in the UK? Probably nothing the stingy b*stards
