Wow, this is a talky one. Luckily for you, this more than hour-and-45-minute-long show is just chock-full of content. We've got all the usual features you know and love, a curtailed discussion of cursing, the downloadable game explosion, Geometry Wars 2 protips and, puzzlingly, Chris gets more excited about a game from the early 1970s than a brand new one.

See, the problem I have with podcasts is that I can't tolerate sitting and listening to something without doing something at the same time, and if I try to read something and listen at the same time, I tend to zone out to what I'm listening to.

And I agree with Chris. Fighting games are boring.

I listen while working... at work. So it is perfect! Great stuff also

That'd be great if I had a different type of job. =(

I have a "desk" job and I don't talk on phones. Just listen to music and old Joystiq podcasts all day

I'm in the same spot noshino, haven't listened to any of them yet for some reason.

So you don't do anything but sit or read? You don't do chores or cleaning or play "mindless" games or drive or walk places or any other hundreds of things I do while I'm listening to podcasts.

I lost so many quarters trying to defeat the new challenger, but I couldn't defeat Sheng Long to stand a chance.

That, or my dragon punch, but that's only at home.

Oooh! Now to search for a good crochet project to do while listening. Joypod hookering has become my one my favorite pasttimes!

Oh man, Justin! I totally agree with you about Braid's ending. I also felt dissatisfied about the ambiguity. I don't mind open-ended stuff, but when writers leave a big, ugly gaping hole with tons of untied plot strings all over the place...it's just a big mess. There's a line between a "deep" ending and a convoluted mush.

And I just saw 2001 Space Odyssey again last night and that did not help with my answers blue balls. I need to go play Final Fantasy or watch Batman again...there's something comforting about a solid ending sometimes.

Agreed. All he was missing was a, "one, two, one, two, step up to the microphone...sucka!" or, "You ain't no MC like me...sucka!". Either one would be the proverbial cherry on top of that whip topped verbal sundae.

Nice job Chris. Between the opening, almost skipping a segment, and not knowing BC doesn't have an online co-op, you ruined the podcast. Are you kidding me? You obviously don't care about gaming, evidenced by your purchase of solitaire on teh iPhone, so why do you continue to work for a gaming website? You should just give up now before a challenger appears and just wipes the floor with your shiny bald head.

And what are you going to do if Galaga doesn't have co-op? Go back to the 70's and force Namco to put it into the original?

Finally, how can you not have bought Geo Wars yet? By the time you get it, both Justin and Ludwing will be so insanely good, you'll never be able to catch them.

I've never listened before, but what the hell, I'll give it a shot. If not only for the oxymoron that is exercising while listening to game-talk.

i just played the demo for BC:R and when it started up i swore there was a gameplay may change during online play warning. then i went to read the psn update article and it said it didn't have online co-op. i'll have to check again.

Haha I wasn't done listening yet and then you guys come up about trying not to drop that :P Anyways that was a great podcast, keep up the good work on that.

PS I'd love to hear a full uncensored podcast once time, that would be so funny.
