In the UK, thats the same price as a 1GB. Heres a table-

UK Price In dollars

1GB 10 Pounds $20
2GB 20 Pounds $40
4GB 30 Pounds $60
8GB 60 Pounds $120

I'm not too sure about the 8GB, but we're still paying a hell of a lot more

@ Strike
Nope. I bought it the last time PSPFanboy ran a deal notice on this stick, which if you look at the "related headlines" listing under the article says that the last memory deal they posted for precisely this stick was... 42 days ago.

Having a 4GB stick entirely changed the way I use my PSP. It opened a world of possibilities. And that price is INSANE!!

Grab it if you haven't already

I picked one up. I just started using my PSP for video more, so definitely something I could use. Amazingly I now have three Memory Sticks.

I dunno. I'm unwilling to trust Buy.com after hearing dozens and dozens of bad customer service stories. More than any other online retailer ever, actually.

Their product listings for game accessories also tend to be undetailed or incorrect.

If anyone does bite on this one, drop a comment or something and let us know how it went...

$10 dollars isn't too much of a difference, so if it makes you feel better, you should probably get it from somewhere else, for $30. Unless you don't earn money, like me, then $10 dollars can be a huge difference @___@

Yeah, me too. I'm still fine with my 1GB, so I might as well wait.

Looks like the deal is over. When you add it to the cart the price jumps to $41.31

It isn't $20.

Once you add it to your cart, it magically shoots up to, and I quote: "$48.50"

I use a 16 GB Stick in my PSP (I use it mostly for music/movies). If you have the extra cash to spend (About $149) I suggest you pick up one of those.

I'd like to get a 8GB or 16GB but I don't earn any money to be able to pay for so much, so I'm stuck at 2GB. It holds all my songs, but it isn't quite enough for the videos I would like to have. At least it can hold my songs.

I ordered mine right after this was posted. It's been a week now, and according to Google Checkout and buy.com, they still haven't shipped. Did anyone else jump on this and, if so, are you still waiting for it just to ship?

Due to complete negligence and stupidity, I've now submitted a formal complaint against Buy.com. Seven emails, and not ONE of them was authentic--all of them were variations on the form letter, and I use the term "variations" loosely.

It's probably unwise to refer your readers to Buy.com, as they are notoriously underhanded, despite the deals they may or may not make good on. Crooks, the lot of them.
