You guys are just getting Mega Man now? That's strange, it's been on the EU Virtual Console for well over a year now and Mega Man was never anywhere near as popular over here as it is in the States.

I'll never really understand Nintendo sometimes, but at least you've something to look forward too, I don't even bother checking the VC any more.

Yeah the release schedule has been odd, I think Pilotwings and Starfox for the SNES were already out in Europe...if not...WTF Nintendo?

Just a heads up, I don't recommend anyone buy the Mega Man game, when they can instead get this for a much cheaper price in comparison:

Just a heads up...

I have the collection and the original cartridge, and still going to buy the VC release.

I want to have Megaman 1, 2 and 9 directly on the Wii menu =p

And playing with the Wii remote sideway is a plus. Feels more NESishy.

I have the collection, too, but I'm considering buying it on VC today, too just for the controller. The GC controller is awful for Mega Man and I STUPIDLY gave that funky GC controller away years ago without the analog sticks.

To be honest I'd rather just buy Mega Man 2 and 3 off the Virtual Console and play with the Wii remote than having the Collection with those two and a bunch of other games I don't care about and having to play it with the GameCube controller. Still, a nice option for the hardcore Mega Man people I guess.

The problem with the Mega Man Anniversary Collection for the Gamecube isn't so much the Gamecube controller, as it is the fact that Capcom stupidly swapped the A and B button controls, so it feels INCREDIBLY awkward playing. And there's no ability to customize control.

If you're considering the collection, get it for the PS2 instead.

So you have the collection that works fine on wii but still want to buy the separate games again even though only one is more expensive than the actually collection?

That's fucking stupid.

financially talking.

Well... Megaman 1 is $5 on the VC.

It's $5 bucks. A game as good as Mega Man is worth it to me if it means not having to swap disks and use a good controller for it.

Exactly samfish.

Plus, is a NES game. It uses less than 1MB. Is very convenient to have the game directly on the Wii menu.

And the d-pad on the Wii remote is very good, kinda like the DS d-pad.

So the author didn't even play the game and bashes it? Is there like no budget to download and give some impressions? hmmm. No wonder AOL doesn't want to pay its bloggers anymore...

Do you really need impressions on a pool game? Even if it doesn't suck as a game....it's pool.

I don't recommend anyone buy the pool game it does suck ....it's control is worse because playing with the wii as a pool stick is crappy

I have wii playt and got it for 10$ NEW from a mom and pop shop without the controller and its great the pool game is the best 1 on 1 there is in pool.

I would say getting this game just wated 800 wii points but i was to curious to see if it was any good. :(

When will someone come up with great 1 on 1 controls for a game like nintendo's wii play and wii sports.
