My exact same thoughts.

Okay so that game is about Dracula visiting China or something like that? Also what Vampires have to do with Dragons (Unless we are talking about Berserk Dragon) And I don't remember any game called Dracula 2 at all.

I'm a little over six hours into Too Human, and the 'dungeon crawling' description up there ^^ is actually pretty accurate. I don't hate the game at all, but it's going to get ripped to schreds because people won't be viewing it as just a 'new game'; they'll be viewing it as 'that game that's been in development for over a decade'. People will be merciless.

people aren't just "merciless" because of development time, it has more to do with all the awful bs that Dyack has been spreading for a while...

Wish Quest for Booté had trophies :( and I just wasn't feeling Too Human. Starwars Force Unleashed Demo it is! I guess its back to Braid and getting all 8 hidden stars, 4 more to go. :)

I hate achievements.

When devs decide all achievements should be obtained in ranked matches is like they don't want you to have fun at all.

Duke

Sort of, the hidden stars in Braid don't give you achievements and I'm still doing it. Just for fun.

:)

OK, as long as you are still doing non achievement oriented things. I for instance played RSV2 this weekend, and we know that isn't about achievements!

(BTW: How can a terrorist shoot me and someone far away from me at the same time? RSV2 cheats!)

Yes sir, thats why I still get down with COD4 and Gears even though I have all ch33voz unlocked. See, my thing is R&C ToD was just ok for me. Maybe if it had ch33voz I might play it more. Games like Braid don't need any ch33voz.

;)

Vcize, you thought you had me there didn't ya! No, seriously, when you are facing one guy on a mounted gun, you can watch his tracers hit a guy far away from you and then hit you at about the same time. One terrorist - I done it over and over making sure of that.

I think I will grab too human after a few weeks or so. I want to see how people like it first. Besides, waiting for fable 2 in a few weeks and have that huge backlog to get through as it is.

Too Human is going to bomb, unfortunately. I actually really enjoyed the demo after I got used to the controls, which took longer than it does for most games.

But, upon first booting it up, the controls seems so stupid and frustrating that I have no doubt the general masses will give up within the first 15 minutes before things start getting fun.

I have to admit that right stick controls don't make sense to me. I feel gimped with it, like in alone in the dark. So if thats how it feels - I will be annoyed as hell.

I agree, this game seems far from mainstream. It took me 2 playthroughs of the demo to get the analog stick controls. After figuring out how to slide and do air combos it feels really good (being a bezerker helps). Hopefully this game develops a cult following, enough so that they can finish the trilogy. I hate when they announce a trilogy before the first ships, advent rising anyone?

I am going to buy this game when it drops in price. Too many other games for me to play at the moment and plus, I don't want to spend $60 for this right now.

I thought Too Human was decent enough. Interesting story, and pretty fun gameplay. When it comes down to it, it's going to be nothing more than a massive grind fest, replaying the same levels to get better equipment over and over, but that didn't seem to bother people with Diablo, or Phantasy Star Online.

If it had system link multiplayer, I would have bought it, but without it, I'll pass.

Personally, I'm excited. Too Human is going to be the first full retail game I've bought since...um...MGS4, maybe?

Well, WiiFit...but maybe I should qualify that by saying the first one that I've bought *and* am actually going to play!

Seriously, this guy's swooping out of nowhere to seize the "most arrogant developer" award away from Cliffy B's grasp

Action RPGs aren't my thing outside of Fable. Loved Fable! I'll throw some money at Ratchet, though.

I really hope Viva Pinata 2 can pick up some more sales after Too Human dissapoints. It certainly deserves it more than this flop tastic dreck.

I didn't like the Too Human demo, I am buying Tales of Vesperia instead next week :P And the TFU demo on Thursday, not to mention Infinite Undiscovery in 2 weeks.

And apparently the 2 official reviews didn't like it either... it currently has a 68 from Game Informer and a 42 from 1UP.
