Is it not allowed to require keyboard and mouse for PS3? Wouldn't that solve everything?

They do realize you can use a mouse and a keyboard with the PS3, right? Hell, you could hook up a printer while grilling your burgers on the damn thing.

Delicious.

Probably is..

Though Wii/PC probably already exists. (I'm sure there's a flash-based MMO somewhere...)

Sony or Microsoft would have to redesign their entire infrastructure to suit it. They would have to both agree to a set standard, which wouldn't happen since both would think theirs is better.

NOTE: I'd rather Sony rework PSN to suit Steam. Imagine having a seamless online experience on your console and your computer.

Solution: Stop developing action MMOs. A turn based MMO would have minimal impact from control schemes.

So every MMO should be a WoW clone?

Number 1 reason I hate wow. It doesn't require skill, it requires time.

I consider WoW to be action-based for all intents and purposes. (since 1/4 second turns aren't exactly noticable)

This is a load of crap. Just require cross-platform play to have a mouse/keyboard.

What's the fucking point of creating an MMO and splitting the (likely miniscule) player base?

WoW was a clone of other games before anything tried to compete with it.
