As much hype as this game is getting I thought it'd be alot better than what I played on the demo. I thought it was a last gen game at the most. The textures weren't that great and the animations weren't either. But hey thats just my taste in games I guess.

I hate to break this to anyone, but there's not a single 360 game with 100% perfect textures. Last year everyone nearly shat themselves over Call of Duty 4 and I can't tell you how many trees, rocks and other textures look like crap compared to the rest of the game.

you know what youre right. But even so I don't see this game being as great as people are making it out to be. The demo sucked gameplay wise and there are people posting on here that say the same. So I'll even let the textures slide. I just have a high level standard now after games like COD4, gears of war and MGS4. Those games have taking textures and models and game play to another level that I feel other Devs need to try and out do or at last be on that level.

I loved the demo but it's not looking good. 1UP gave it a C- which is like a 6 or something.
To be fair, the review is atrocious and that reviewer should be shot. It just sounds like he hated the game before he even played it, and he doesn't even really elaborate why that is. His page is not even a word page long either.

Sounds like old Shovelface reviewed it. He always has some sort of vindictive hatred towards certain games he reviews before he even plays them. Take Shadowrun for example (but I will note, gamestop edited his two pages of mindless ramblings into half a page as with most of his reviews).
Regardless of any reviews I'm buying this damn game. I've been waiting this long and I'm not going to miss out just because Game Informer and 1UP gave it a bad review.

The demo killed it for me as well. I hated the combat system, it felt like it didn't really take skill rather just "point and attack". The story and overall premise I could care less about...as long as the gameplay is there. It isn't. Still it would be nice to see solid sales or critical acclaim for TH, another solid IP On the 360 never hurt anyone.

Not worth 60 of my hard earned bucks, based on the demo. I love the idea of online co-op though.
If I was flush, I might have a weak moment, and pick this up, but I'm kinda skint, so this is a definite pass.

I disliked the demo the first time I played it. I didn't even get all the way through it. Then a friend insisted I give it another go, and what do you know... I really liked it! I've played it through with every other class since then!
I should also mention that I have NEVER liked this kind of game, FPS titles have always been my thing. I don't know if that has anything to do with it, but I'm really looking forward to this game. If it plays like the demo did, I'm sold. :)

Yawn. I love Norse mythology, but the stifling, overwhelming genericness of this crap in every possible way just makes me say "meh." It doesn't help that the demo was utter garbage, either. Shame, I was looking forward to this.

I could only give the demo 15 minutes then I hit the xbox button and went back to the dashboard, selected the demo, and deleted it.
It took them 10 years to produce a game that looks like it should have been released last generation? Pathetic. Seriously, the part with the ship coming out of the clouds was weak guys. Not only that, the game play is shallow and looks to be repetitive super quick. Just the introduction of the enemies was laughable. I've seen the damn power ranger battle more interesting people.
I won't even start with the whole Space Viking feeling this is going for either. Metalocalypse they are not.

Huh. I really liked the demo. I wasn't considering this game until I played the demo. Then I went out and reserved it. The reviews on Metacritic range from 80 to 40 so I can't really use any of them. They're all over the place.
Oh well. I like the demo I expect I'll like the game well enough.
But then I loved Alone in the Dark and Quake Wars and apparently those are some of the worst games ever made according to the peanut gallery.

To be fair, nearly all the demos I have played have been visually dumbed down compared to the actual disc version. It might be better played from the actual disc seeing that XBL has demo download limits. I thought it was fun, but I had no idea what was going on like 50% of the time...
