We've been getting some mixed signals from BioWare in recent days about Dragon Age: Origins and its fate on consoles, going so far as to make us wonder if the console versions of the game will be wholly different from the one coming to PC. BioWare took some time out to clear up the confusion with Eurogamer.
"Yes. Dragon Age: Origins will be coming to consoles in the near future, yes," Dan Tudge, director and executive producer for the game, said. So, not exactly a console-specific version, but hey, at least that means less of a wait, right?

I saw them demo this at GenCon and I was very disappointing. The plot seemed very hackneyed and they are using 10 year old game-isms. Not to mention the voice acting didn't spice things up much...
Although, the troll fight was pretty sweet.
Also, the casters blasted their own party with AOE a lot.

Good. Now if Blizzard would commit to bringing Diablo 3 to consoles. I can't afford to drop 3 grand every 18 months to keep up with the latest PC games!!

TADA!! another clueless poster strikes again on Joystiq. D3 will run on 5 year old PC's, just like all their other games, stop being so damn ridiculous. Play it on your pc and stop worrying about it.

:'( . So long as they don't mutilate the PC versions controls to make the console port easier, It'll all be ok.

Great, as long as they focus on the PC version first and foremost.

screw the console versions of the "spiritual successor to BG"....i'll be damned to play that shit on a console. Give me Rock Band 2 for my 360 already, and give me a AAA pc title from Bioware..period, end of discussion. All the lamers who can't find enjoyment in PC gaming for whatever the daily excuse is or moaning and bitching can have fun with the wonky controls months later. :)
